Why is it that you guys have no problem with spending $500 and on up, gambling and losing but complain when a girl charges $500?  With the girl at least you have a great time, with the casino all you are doing is making it a nicer place.

When gambling I know exactly what I'm getting into, or at least I should, so I'm more willing to take the good with the bad.  As far as the ladies go, a $500 time doesn't always mean a better time then a $300 or $400 time, and with this venture I don't want it to be gambling.  So if I choose a $500 time I want to be much more sure of my bet, just as I would scope out the best spread/odds at the different sports books befor placing a bet.  Hope this helps.

I just pulled a number out of my head, whether it is $300 or $400 or $500 there will always be someone saying that is too much yet, that same person just dropped a grand at a blackjack table.  With cards and football and most gambling how can you be sure of what you are getting into?  Any one can win any Sunday and sometimes the cards are with you and sometimes they are not.

The last time I was in Vegas I sat down at a roulette table and bought $500 in chips. Left less than an hour later with $12,000 in chips. Now if I would have given a lady the $500 would I have had a greater time? By the way I did have one of my lady friends with me. When we sat down I also bought her $500 in chips. She never hit even 1 number. To answer my own question I did actually have an even greater time at a different table that night. OHH MARY!

It's nice to know that I'm better than winning money!!!! LOL  But then I've always said there is no gamble with me....I'm a sure thing baby! (big smile). Honey, I keep telling you that I'm not very lucky....I'm just very GOOD! Can't wait to see you again! xoxoxox

I'm with jay on this one. Anytime you gamble in Vegas the odds are against you, and you know this going in. With a lady she will promise the world and rarely deliver something to brag about.

In truth, most of the men can afford the 300, 400 or 500, but why should you give away your money when you don't have to (and for a subpar performance). For the ladies reviewed on this site, with a majority of their performance ratings being 7 and up - I'm sure most men here wouldn't bargain for what they know will be a "once-in-a-lifetime" encounter.

And remember with gambling there is always a glimmer of hope that you will get your money back.... but, after an hour with a bad provider - your money and the lady are gone forever

It's the risk to reward ratio... with a lady, you more-or-less know it can only be so good (even though that might be really, really good!). But at the table, you hope you will walk away with more -- maybe much more -- than you laid down. On the tables you are gambling; with the lady, generally you don't want to gamble but gift her an appropriate amount for her services.

What I spend/drop is irrevilant. What good is it if a I spend $200 or $2000 with a lady and I don't have a good time?

Chemistry (and research) is more important than rates or whatever I win/lose at the tables.

If I feel I won't "click" with the provider, she could have rates under $200 and I still wouldn't book time with her.

It is all from your point of reference and experience.  If 200 is a significant amount of your disposable income, then it may be too much, unless the “satisfaction quotient” is high.  However, if 500 is only a small fraction of your disposable income, then you evaluate the relative satisfaction quotient value of the cost. It is all about the “satisfaction quotient,” that being how much dopamine the brain receives during the encounter relative to the activity, be it gambling or intimate pleasure.  Dopamine is a chemical that tells the brain something is pleasurable. For example, when you have the big O, there is a huge amount of dopamine released to the brain telling it that you just had an extremely pleasurable experience, thus desiring it again whenever possible, thereby creating possible addiction to the activity. However, typically before the first encounter with a particular lady, the satisfaction quotient will be low, unless there is a high level of expectation of great pleasure because of foreknowledge or prior experiences, then the quotient rises, as will as the willingness to pay more. If the lady has great reviews, is appealing to the eye, gives a GFE experience, and stirs the juices within, then spending 500 is more acceptable relative to income.  Conversely, if a lady is uninterested, dislikes what she does, mechanical, and whose mind is already out the door before the session begins, then paying 200 or less has little satisfaction quotient value, thus the excitement of gambling the 200 to possibly win 10,000 would give a higher quotient.    Hope you understood all this science stuff…

You're right, Daisey.  There are always going to be those guys that complain about the price, regardless of the asking, and they are the same guys that when they loose in the casino will double their bet thinking they will win it back  on the next round.   When they drop their $500 or $1000 at black jack, they always think they will get it back.  When they spend a hour with a lady, regardless of the service, they know they will never get that hour$ back.  They just know they have that much less for the tables the next go around.

Just because you spend $$$$$ on an incredible lady doesn't mean your going to have a good time .... like chesse said .. chemistry plays a major role .... should I ask the lady for a refund half way through? .... at the tables I can bet what I want, where I want, and when I want, I have no real investment because I cannot predict the outcome of a session .... With a provider I have an investment and the outcome should be certain. And at the tables I can make $500 last alot longer then an hour ... lol .....

I had the same feelings between gambling or spending it on a fun time - used to take my chances at the table - until I had an absolutely GFE fabulous experience out of town (not Vegas).  I had a limited amount of $$$$ available and had gone back to the casino the next night but when I started to lose - which is normal, guys, admit it -- I couldn't help equating it to time spent with that very special girl.  Every 100 bucks was going to be another memory lost and I saw my bankroll for the trip going bye bye with each deal of the cards or roll of the dice.  

Suddenly the casino became a very ugly place - it was taking away my ability to spend more time with this lady - so I quit after twenty minutes, got a cab and went back to my hotel.  The next night I had enough bankroll to see her for 3 more hours and let me tell you - THAT was a gamble that paid off better then most.  I will never forget the experience - the time I spent.  Throwing 600-900 bucks onto a blackjack table 25 bucks at a time for three hours is a hell of lot less exciting and memorable - to me.  Thanks to one girl I see gambling away my money in an entirely different light now.

"....With the girl at least you have a great time......."  Possibly, and just as possible Not.  And with gambling I can possibly have a great time as well.  When I come to LV (a few times a year) I allocate a certain number of dollars for gaming and a certain number of dollars for companionship.  I usually make the companionship arrangements beforehand with providers I have either seen before, or have decided I would like to meet.  Those in the second category were usually chosen by researching reviews here on TER and other similar sites.  I think that in general, a guy would consider a provider with some good reviews more of a "sure thing" than an unknown.  I know that you'll probably feel that we shouldn't believe everything we read (you and I have had part of this discussion before), or at least look upon reviews with a grain of salt, but some data is usually better than no data, and like blackjack, that data makes your chances of winning better.

With regard to your original question, there are a few answers, some explained above. But to continue:

1.  That $500 at the blackjack table, if properly utilized, could provide hours and hours of entertainment, as opposed to one hour of a provider's company.

2.  It is unfair to even compare gambling expenditure to companionship expense.  These are 2 highly subjective areas and as such are solely at the discretion of the player (or client).  I sometimes go to LV with 2 other guys, one of whom spends unbelieveable amounts of $$ on companionship and very little on gaming, the other sees no women and just sits at the tables, not even coming up for air.  And both enjoy themselves.  In their own ways.

3.  There is a provider in the mid-west, I forget her name, who has excellent TER reviews, and charges around 150/hour.  She says on her site that that amount is all she believes escorting services are worth, regardless of who the provider is.  Well, just like her, guys will make a determination as to what the highest allowable hourly rate for them would be, and choose not to see providers who charge more.  This preogative is as much theirs as charging 500/hour is yours.

I for one have paid 500+/hour for companionship.  And I can tell you that the money is not at all what makes for a good provider.  My ATF is half that rate, and if she were triple that rate she would still be worth it, in my opinion (luckily she isn't!). I have had more $500 disappointments than "...great times...", so I do look at reviews, and try to make educated choices.

First, remember that most men come to Las Vegas to gamble, see the shows, etc. So, the peovider's fee will need to be budgeted accordingly. Also, keep in mind that the providers in Las Vegas
charge more than in many other places, mainly because it's a tourest /convention destination. Just check the reviews for San Francisco/Sillicon Valley. Cost of living there is many times greater than in LV, yet the providers charge significantly less.
I'm a free enterprise kind of guys, so if the market will bear the higher fee, then that's fine. If it is worth it to me, and it's in the budget, then I'll pay. If not, I'll have to pass.  But, many will balk if they think the price is too high.
