This guy by the name  of Jerry just left me a message on my pager in a very upset voice -

Hi Cindy,  I called you about your add last night but
I don't know if you keep your phone off , screen your calls or just don't return your calls , anyways won't bother you anymore.


Well Jerry , This number you called is a pager number so you can't reach me directly.
I didn't get your message from last night because I just got back from Mexico .
If I don't check my messages within 7 hours they automatically get erased so your message was erased by the time I got back. If you would have left a number I can reach you at, I would have called to explain you all this . It is kinda hard to call back people when they don't leave call back numbers .

So maybe Jerry is reading this and now he will get it .

Guys , there are many reasons ladies can't call back when you want . Personally if I don't call back or email back that means I was busy and I couldn't .
if you still want to see a certain lady you are welcome to try her again and again but be sure to leave your call back number.
We can't call someone who doesn't leave their number and be sure to say your number clearly. Many times guys don't speak clearly and you don't understand the number or they are on a cell phone and they are cutting out .......think about these things !!
If a lady  doesn't get back to you after so many tries don't take it personally . We are only one person. Move on and try someone else . Plenty of great ladies to see in Vegas .

Maybe it was just that he couldn't bear the thought of not being in your arms.  Next time you leave town, you may want to consider letting us all know, so that we don't go through withdrawal.

Realistically, he probably was leaving town, and equated lack of advance planning on his part with some evil deed on yours.

Cindy, I don't think I've ever seen you apologize to anyone on this board.  You're never wrong - it's always someone else's fault. You defend providers even when there is overwhelming evidence that one may have treated a client poorly.

An apology to the guy (don't worry - it's not me) on this board, since you felt the need to go public, would have been a more magnanimous response.

You may give great tantra, but I think you could learn a thing or two about customer relations.  No need to take it so personally.

How do you or she know that he didn't leave a number the first few times he called her?  I'll bet he did.  Since her messages are deleted after 7 hours, all you know is that the last time he called to say "forget it" that he didn't leave a number.  Why should he at that point?  He was either gone or no longer interested.

Your original point, the one I was commenting on, was the suggestion that he might not have left a call back number as a matter of discretion.

I was trying to say (perhaps not very well) that I don't find that credible. The same discretion issue would have likely been there each time he called. If he didn't leave a call back number the last time because he was concerned about discretion, I think it unlikely he would have ever left a call back number.

The point of the post was just to remind guys why girls can't always answer their messages and if they don't answer back , don't take it personally.

"Jerry" was just an example of what can happen .

Business 101 – The best product will fail when matched by piss poor customer service.  I wonder how many businesses remain viable when they erase their customers messaged before reading them???  Now I remember why this provider was only a one timer.  The good news is that there are many others in this town that pride themselves on customer service.

DAHHH I don't erase messages before reading them . The paging system only holds them for so many hours ............ if I am not around for so many hours to listen to a message that means I am busy anyways ............it's common sense .

If someone needs to reach me long term they should know there is a better way to reach me ...........because I answer my emails .

Normally, I don't try and defend Cindy as she really never needs it.  However, on this thread I will.

First, maybe it was wrong of Cindy to go public with this.  However, I probably know Cindy better than anyone on this board.  And knowing her and the tone of the thread, it was more information to us guys that sometimes no matter what, a lady is not going to get back to you for whatever reason.  It could be lots of things, but bottom line, it didn't or won't happen.  I believe Cindy explained why she couldn't get back to the guy.  She is right, if you call a pager and don't leave a number to respond to, then why are you calling in the first place?  Bottom line if she doesn't get back to you, move on.  There are other ladies in LV.  I don't see the reasoning about fixating on one lady.

I personally know that a large part of Cindy's day goes to answering email and making personal phone contact with every person she is going to see.  She tries to answer every email herself to give it that personal touch.  She wouldn't have it any other way.  I know for a fact that providers seek her counsel and advice on how to handle certain situations and other issues.  She is always willing to help.

Cindy gives a ton of advice on this board.  She is always willing to help when somebody has a question in which she may know the answer.  She is never shy about that.  And believe me, if she can't work an appointment with someone, she will always suggest someone else.

Regarding apologizing, knowing Cindy, if there was a need to apologize, she would.  But how often do any of you guys apologize to any provider when you got a story wrong or you feel the need to bash a provider just because you didn't have a good time?  The board never sees or hears your apology!

Cindy has been in this biz for a while.  She defines customer service.  I have seen some of the best ladies that are in this "hobby".  And still Cindy is my ATF.

Some of you may call this shilling.  It isn't.  Cindy doesn't need my help.  She has plenty of business.  She turns down more business than you would believe.  But sometimes, you have to defend a friend.

I never said she was the victim.  In fact, nobody did.  So, I don't know where u are getting that from.

As far as Cindy "fireing" on the guy, as I said, her intent is to show that sometimes things don't work out.  No matter what either party does or doesn't do.  The guy sounds like he was fixated on her and left several messages.  Most of us have been in this biz a long enough time to know that if a reputable provider does have time for you, she will return the call promptly.  The guy should have moved on.  

Again, how many times do we hear of a guy slamming a provider because she didn't return his msg or answer her phone.  And then we find out that she had a perfectly good reason.  We never hear the guy apologizing do we?

Probably best if we just all move on.

O.K. Last night he was talking about how he lost his best friends wife in the whole world, oh, and then that she was pregnant with a baby girl. ( If that is true, my heart does go out to him)but then, his friend died too! In the same accident with his wife and unborn daughter, and he was very sad, and how it affected him, as it would all of us. just expressing his dissatisfaction with the 'customer service'. He wanted Cindy to know she wouldn't be hearing from him again because he feels she doesn't want his business anyway.

Now I've left similar messages with one lady, but when she finally called me back, she was so sweet and explained exactly why it took so long for her to respond. I decided to see her and we had a great time,(at least I'm sure I did) because her attitude was so great that I couldn't stay upset at her.  But if this guy ever reads this thread, I'd be surprised if he ever calls Cindy back even if he now knows that Cindy had a good legit reason for not being able to call him back.

Cindy did explain herself but her post was dripping with contempt for the guy. She may have been tired, or she may have been having a bad day... But she just sounded to me like she really doesn't need or want more business....  I'm sure a lot of readers here won't be bothering her anymore...

I fired in public on who ??? Who is "Jerry" ?? Do we know who he is ???  There are a million "Jerry's" in the U.S.

The Moral of the story is when you leave a message be sure to leave your call back number and make sure your message is clear.

If you can't leave a call back number then no point leaving a message on a pager .

No matter how many times you call a pager number you will never reach me . It's a pager,  not a phone.

If you leave someone a message and they don't answer try again later ( sometimes also messages don't go through , like emails get lost in space ) try a 3rd time. If by then you don't hear from that person move on.

If your really interested in seeing a certain lady , plan ahead . If you can't plan ahead  your welcome to try last minute but don't be bummed when you can't reach her.

It is very simple .

Being that I see guys complain on the boards  ( not just Vegas board) all the time about ladies not calling back , thought I would bring it up .

This thread is amazing. So many to defend Cindy over her thrashing a guy on a public board because he said something to her voicemail she didn't like. And we have Jordan responding in a manner that is almost undecipherable. But you have Anna down below being accused of spreading HSV in such a vauge, menacing way and it barely gets noticed. If this isn't a caste system at work in Vegas I don't know what is.

It's no wonder thebackchannels are full of opinions that the indies are no better than the agnecies anymore.

But, boy, did I really want to let loose. One of the Knights really pissed me off some time ago when a banned provider came in on chat, lied about not being banned, lied about me stalking her, lied about 5,000 other things (her MO, because why should the truth get in the way of a good rant), and this guy couldn't wait to surgicaly implant his tongue halfway up her colon.

I doubt CS and I will do business, and sometimes she overdoes the ballbusting, but I do appreciate a strong woman, I respect her intellect greatly and without a doubt she is an asset to this board. I just never understood how this thread got legs the way it did. Surely all girls get calls like this regularly, and equally surely the best way is to ignore them, since it is a pager and not a cell phone. Certainly there are better ways to get your link on the board.

Business is really off here right now, a number of top flight professional ladies have taken day jobs, which should tell you all you need to know. I can't help but wonder if Cindy's rant has something to do with it.

Sounds like the heat is up in Vegas and made that is why "business" is down.  We actualy had a few nice days of cool weather here in Houston low 60's upper 80's  I nice break from the upper 90's and 90% humidity.  But it was short kived and the heat is on again.  I am sure busines will be booming again soon when fall arrives

No one I know took a day job .........and who said anything about slow ?

This board is to bring up issues . I felt it was the time and place to do so . Just as others post what they want when they want , so can I .

Slow , Busy or VERY busy I only book one appointment per day ( very rare I will book two )  I like to be fresh and full of energy for my clients . I like to be on time . and I doubt guys
like to be the 4th or 5th one of the day .

SO  unless I  am on a 24 or 48 ( or longer ) appointment I have plenty of time for other things and not because it is slow.
