I was in LV last week and had a date booked with Alexis for Wednesday evening (7/1).  I called her beforehand to confirm and set up the meet about 6 or 7 times the day before and the day of the date with no reply.  I also e-mailed her, with no result as well.

I'm not upset about being stood up.  Those of you who know me can attest to the fact that I'm a decent guy, and have no bad motives.
I am upset in that I'm worried about her.  Would appreciate it if anyone who knows her can contact her and make sure she's OK.  I'd also like to know that she's OK, or, Heaven forbid, she's not.  Thanks.

PS:  The last I heard from her was a 6/24 e-mail from her vacation spot.  She said she was heading home and that we'd speak soon.

I recently had a period of several days when I was incommunicado.

First, I lost my cell phone on the plane on the way to Vegas (a vacation trip, not business). When I got back home, the internet cable was down, the dial-up didn't work for some reason, and it took 3 days for the cable guy to show up.

Very frustrating--I was very happy to finally get brought back to the modern world again.

Hopefully Alexis is just having communication problems like I did.

(BTW, I stayed in a beautiful penthouse Bellagio suite, for a great price---the economy must still be down for them to offer these suites at half price.)

As mentioned by cheesewiz, nobody's heard from Alexis since 6/27.  That's 10 days, not 3, but fully a week and a half.  Cheese is a good friend of Alexis, and usually has daily contact with her.  Up until the 24th, I was in contact with her frequently as well.  This all seems strange, and too scary to contemplate simply as a communications break-down.

I glad you enjoyed the Bellagio.  This was just the perfect post to let everyone know that.

Police are involved and investigating.  As soon as we know, we'll post on the board.
