Planning a trip to Vegas in a few weeks. I know there are some great indies there ( I saw one...Cassidi....on my last trip ) and some great looking ladies in casino lounges as well  ( had great time at Casear's last year ), but I really want to experince the brothels at least once. I often fantasized about the line up. Picking one lovely out, among at least few others.
Any suggestions ?.......Is Sherri's or Chicken Ranch better...or anything else I should know ?

Don’t expect the reality to come close to the fantasy. The best looking girls are generally waiting for the occasional whale to pop in and aren’t normally interested in anything less than a grand, and even that won’t get you much time (one pop and you’re out). They have to split 50/50 with the house. The barbies will sometimes settle for $500 for a quickie. Also, the better she looks, the more rules you can expect her to have.

1.  No BBBJs (illegal in brothels)
2.  No kissing (they subscribe to the Julia Roberts school of hooking)
3.  No DATY without a dental dam, if at all (who knows where your tongue has been)
4.  No touching her tits (I’m exaggerating, but not unheard of)

In a line-up at Sheri’s, they breeze past you one by one and say their name, you’re not allowed to say a word to them at that point. Where do these old bags that run those places come up with these ridiculous rules? Chicken Ranch has much smaller line-ups. In either place, you’re better off skipping the line-ups and just hanging out in the bar and see what develops. Having a drink or shooting a game of pool with them doesn’t cost you anything, and you may meet someone you like who has sensible prices and rules. You can’t discuss that stuff until you go to her room though where the old lady can listen in on the intercom.

My Experience is that the ones near LV are

Pretty crappy.  I have had pretty good times with Ranch (Hoff’s joint) just outside Carson City – but do not expect anything close to GFE.  But there at least you can sit, chat and share a drink while you decide.  For a mixed bag of tricks expect to pay $1K.

I used to  do  their web site for a while back in 2001-2002 and some phot  stuff out ther and I've done a few girls there as well.
Toi do it once.. for the line up fantasy well go for it but it is such a waste o time and money. You will enjoy it a lot better and for less money with an indie. Also unless youv'e got lots benjamins there will be NO GFE. My advice go with  a proven Indie from this board.

The line up for me was a real "rush", meaning very exciting and full of flush intensity.

For me, they rousted them all out of the rooms (it was about 2:30 AM on a weekday) and about 18-20 girls showed up.  The house mom (or whatever they call her) ordered them all together in a lineup, all in a row before me, and I was there sitting on a comfy sofa, almost like I was in the living room of a typical southern sorority house.  A relatively formal yet comfortable setting.  They each stepped out of the line up in turn and presented themselves, said their names and smiled, then stepped back in line.  After the last girl did her thing I was given about 1 minute to make my selection, that's all.  It is something for a quick thinker, because they are all so damned HOT!!  I had trouble making up my mind and the house mom indicated to me that "it's time to choose".  So I selected my predetermined "fallback" girl, a girl I had already recognized from the pics on their site.  And here I would recommend that any guy doing the lineup should go to the site to get familiar with the girls on the schedule that week so he will have an easier time making his choise.  But I thought it was all very cool, and something that's very much fun for at least once in your life.

In a way, I suspect that the whole lineup process is a rush for the girls too.  I definitely sensed a quivering, almost embarrassed and flush presense from many of the girls standing there.  An excitement and anticipation, with some embarrassment, about who will be selected from the covey of doves.  They are standing there half naked and on display and the guy is sitting there in the king seat judging them.

I picked "Jade", a raven-haired, busty, long legged Brazilian beauty (who is at the Mustang Ranch now I think).  We went back and had a good time haggling over prices and services.  I thought that process was fun, and she seemed to enjoy it too.  I think it's a good idea to find out about the negotiation process before going - the girls seem to respect you more and you get a much better deal if you know you way around the negotiation.  Anyway we agreed to 680 for most everything except kissing and she let me stay almost two hours.  I had a great time.  It was about as GFE as I could expect without a bbbj and kissing - meaning she was lots of fun, very personable, cuddly, playful, very cooperative in all my requests, and we enjoyed ourselves.

I think my experience was maybe not typical for a brothel newbie, and I credit the research I did beforehand on the brothel sites for that.  Reading posts from guys like Speedracer and others who have done this many times.  I think going in the early AM on a weekday helped me a lot.  When guys go one a Saturday night the girls are busy and the prices shoot up too.

But then, that's like any game in town, correct?  Do your research, get as savvy about it (the game) as you can be, and you will have a better chance of having a good time  

You picked a good one in Jade. She has one of the better reps in the brothel industry. I think she is also working for an agency in Phoenix now.

I think you lucked out though, it must have been a slow night. She could have easily been in a shitty mood. Here's a quote from a woman who recently quit working at Sheri's, she didn't exactly get a rush out of those lineups.

"In closing, when you consider that the ladies are seriously sleep deprived (literally, a form of TORTURE used for centuries), yet expected to look great and maintain a good attitude 24-7, yet expected to look the other way when we have a ridiculous amount of NO-SHOWS, (which further adds to our lack of sleep), then awakened numerous times EVERY NIGHT with "clients" who have read the "PRICING" threads, who then arrived by limo, requesting a line-up which awakens TWENTY ladies, with the clients expecting "full service" for some ridiculous amount of money that they saw posted somewhere on a pricing thread... well, now you know why there seems to be such a continual turn-over of ladies and frustrated customers.

While I can only speak for myself, with that many factors working against me, the money doesn't come close to making up for the frustration. Keeping my good clients happy while still having to constantly work around the irresponsible no-shows and irresponsible pricing threads, with NO SLEEP???"

I've read the message boards on the various brothel sites and all these guys talk about is waht an awesome time they had with so and so.  I finally visited Wildhorse Ranch up in Reno a few months ago.  It was cool sitting in the bar checking out all the ladies and the lineups were kind of a rush.  But when you actually got around to the deed, I found it expensive and rather cold.  And I did it with a girl who was supposedly one of the hotter chicks on campus (Summer).  So, what's with these guys on the brothel message boards...are they loaded, don't know good sex when they get it (if they ever do) or lying for their own ego's sake?

They know how to play the game.  If you went when things were busy, girls were moving about in the bar, and lineups were happening frequently, you went at the wrong time.

Think about it:  when things are busy, the girls are naturally gonna want to get into a lineup, get picked, take care of dude quickly, and get back into lineups.

The Chicken Ranch and Sheri's Ranch are neighbors at the south end of Homestead Road in Pahrump. Since they are right next door to each other, my suggestion would be to check out both and decide for yourself which is "better".

The next two nearest brothels to Las Vegas are Mabel's / Cherry Patch I in Crystal and the Cherry Patch II in Amargosa Valley (a/k/a Lathrop Wells). I do NOT recommend either one, due to their common ownership by a disreputable figure and poor conditions found at each for their working ladies.

Even further out is Angel's Ladies in Beatty (certainly worth a look if your goinig to drive out that far) and finally the Shady Lady near Scotty's Junction (recommended by many for their "fixed price" menus).

I hope you enjoy the brothel experience! It is certainly different (not necessarily worse or better) than seeing indies, but I highly recommend doing a little research online before visiting these legal bordellos. And certainly DO NOT look at the experiences portrayed on the HBO "Cathouse" shows as typical of either the prices or the overall experience. They are mostly fiction and very misleading.

Why?

Brothels are way overpriced, bar girls are unknown quanitites, stick with the indies.

I'm with HBS, Carson City is much friendlier and much more cost effective.

Reading some of the older LPIN reviews from Pahrump make me cringe-like the guy who paid $600 extra for DATY and was ok with it when he found out it was through saran wrap.
