Yeah, I was just curious whether in a state where it is legal is it aganist the law (there is always ways around it) for providers discrimnate. Take care!
On the National Discussion Board, a discussion comes up often about the hobby and racism. I don't know much about the legal issues, but in your state--it is legal in some areas. In those areas where it is legal, can providers practice racism in the clients that choose or don't choose to see?
even if it is legal for them to discriminate, they shouldn't. I promise not to get on my soapbox again but good grief, who in thier right mind wants to? This city has so many different types of ethnicities coming in here, and I can't imagnine anyone not seeing someone because of the color of thier skin. From purely a business standpoint, one would be almost broke if providers were that picky.
Of course providers discriminate at times. That's their right. Show me a law anywhere that states who a person must screw. Think about it - don't clients discriminate when selecting a provider? If someone were denied the opportunity to be a sexual provider (where it's legal) because of their race or religion, that would be illegal discrimination (i.e., the law states equal opportunity). But if a provider doesn't want to be sexually involved with someone for ANY reason, that's their choice. This should be obvious.
Racism would be where a provider is barred from employment because of skin color. Who a provider chooses to see or not see is sexual preference, and race could certainly be a factor in that selection. Isn't race sometimes a factor in a customer's selection process as well? Sexual preference is not governed by laws!
I remember reading about something (lets call it a rumor) where the line up at the brothels had a buzz code as to the general race of the clientele. If it was 1 buzz, white; 2 buzzes, black; 3 buzzes, asian. That way, if a prostitute wasn't comfortable with a particular race, she could skip that line up.
In any case, you have to consider that racism is still out there. I don't know about you but I want to make sure that whoever I'm with is going to be comfortable with me. If the provider of my choice isn't comfortable with my race, I don't think I want to be there and risk having a poor time. Maybe you're the more aggressive type and don't care about the chemistry, but I do.
Joey, I understand the background of this question, especially in your area of the country but to be honest, LV is a refreshing change. WE don't really deal with just the skin color issue here, it is like the gents have said, it is about chemistry and connection for both parties.
Yes, I agree that we do have a right to choose who we see... My criteria may be different from the next girl, and our rights are our rights.
