Well just a guess but the 81 year old owner died earlier this year. Maybe his wife didn't have the energy to run it by herself. She is around his same age and deserves to retire sometime.  
Maybe it is for sale if you are interested. But I can't imagine it is much of a money maker. I think they ran it for the love of swinging

The rooster recently had a falling out with their web designer who shut down their site and will not release the domain and site info to them
