Was just watching the news and thought it would be cool to point out a new spot on the strip.  The Park opened today in front of the new T-Mobile arena (In between Monte Carlo and NYNY).  The link to more info is below.  I know I can't wait to check it out!

I saw some stuff on it and I was wondering where it was.  It looks pretty cool.

Of course!  Looks like a fun laid back place to take a walk and grab a bite to eat.

With the new outrageous price of parking in the strip property garages, how will locals afford to enjoy the park?

I added a link, below, to a TER thread that recently discussed the parking topic.

Strip casinos are there for two reasons, location and make boatloads of $ for their stockholders.

A bean counter somewhere must have told management to implement paid parking years ago; with multiple avenues of gaming elsewhere, their ROI and gross profit at each property declined.   Parking fee is one way to "predict" additional revenue without adding too much additional cost to each property.

Who knows, in the future there will no longer be any free drinks at the tables?
