Us ladies must stay together to support one another at this time. Gentleman this is scary for us and your support is appreciated at this time more than you will ever know.
When Backpage did away with, out an out escort pages the ads simply migrated to the personal section. Could TER not do something similar?
women seeking men men seeking women men seeking men women seeking women Politicians (read snakes) seeking whatever I am SURE there are more than a few lawyers on here? Yes? No? Yes? Who could read this "still a bill" before it gets turned into law and figure out what is legal? Joss
How will this affect web hosting companies like Go Daddy or others. Can they be liable if a lady uses their web hosting company to place their website? Just a question because I am curious how ladies will get around this if the bill is actually passed.
Looks like Craigslist and Cityvibe are wiped out too. Good hell, seems to me this ruling hurts the independents and the hobby as we know it, and will be a big boom for the lame agencies.
It would be great if we could hear from admin. No more ad boards is going to be quite the adjustment for all of us. P411 is a great site to use I hope more guys become members in light of what is going on.
city-source and thatmall still up .. guess either they didnt panic or get the news !
remember jurassic park ... "life finds a way" i imagine the oldest profession will find a way for the quality ladies like you find on TER and the indy websites to maintain their activities. after all, DC is one of the busiest towns in the country for the hobby
It's hard to imagine it not becoming law. Republicans are in charge right now (plenty of bible thumpers). And Democrats haven't exactly done anything to defend providers. Albeit, the profession survived one of the most popular websites going down a few years back, so hopefully they can figure out a way to communicate beyond this. But this does look much worse.
When I clicked on my last ad it said “This is a PRIVATE message board. Please contact to request access”. Does this mean those who are members and those who provide are still able to advertise privately? I’m a little confused!
I'm thinking its only a matter of time before alot of the hobby migrates to blockchain/bitcoin based boards and even payment. A ton of Youtube content providers have been outright terminated from there in the past month. Similar, but not quite the same as this is the government imposing this misguided decree. Already there are sites that are crypto-currency based for content providers like Steemit, Dtube and few others. Yes, they are difficult right now and the technology is new but it will become better with time. The ironic thing is, I'm guessing the decree is to fight human trafficking which we can all agree is a evil but it's just going to push things further underground. We need to decriminalize the whole profession or even better legalize it so that children can be protected by having our providers out in the open. No, not walking the streets but able to be legit, pay taxes(if you want lol), and go about your business. My 2 bitcoins(ah, no lol).
I used to offer providers bitcoin back in the day, several years ago. I'm glad it didn't work out lol. I'm sure that it will be an option in the future as soon as the applications become more developed and easier for ladies to use and understand.
Might I add that Litecoin and a few others are good and much faster payment methods as well that Bitcoin. View bitcoin as more like Gold and Litecoin as more like Silver. Both can be converted into $ provided you have a Coinbase account or there's a couple others, but Coinbase is the main one that people start with. Any providers that have questions feel free to PM me. Ciao
Bad timing for this bill to pass! I just signed up and was hoping to geverate new business through this site! It’s a shame they’ve taken down the ad board.
Although I don't post or advertise often, I came on here today and see the effects of the changes we are experiencing. I'm sure we can get through it just like we always do when things shift and change.
This is not going to solve anything to do with human trafficking. This will just push that nefarious and evil activity further into the underworld, push alot of marginal providers back onto the street, and I imagine outright bankrupt some providers who have no where to offer their services in the light of day. The only solution is to legalize the profession or at a minimum decriminalize it so that law enforcement can focus on human and child trafficking and stop wasting their time busting legitimate professional adults who are not hurting anyone. So ridiculous. Of course, you'll never hear about the elites pedo rings getting busted or their human trafficking network. No, they want to come down on the lady of modest means trying her best to earn a living in the way that she deems best. This is where the libertarian side of me comes out. What you gals need is a working card and for LE to get off your back. I suppose it may have to be like how Marijuana was legalized starting with the states. This of course won't happen until the next daddy of all recessions and the State is scrambling for money, remember the topic of legalization was floated here in the 2008/09 recession briefly.
I now have 2Twitter accounts going on . One clean one for moving forward and testing new branding ideasas well as keeping my current one until one date is no longer there. A few months ago I had no Twitter account… Now I have 2. For years I had one website that I loved and I feel celebrated my personality and sexxxy flirtatious ways. Now I have to develop a new one and I’m not quite sure how to Integrate myself into a ‘safe’ brand. Quite the challenge ! My mind and brain have not stop brainstorming for days. @CharleneLoveLV CURRENT @CharleneLoveVIP
part of an article from Reason.com: ---------------- One of many similarly misleading bills that have gained traction in recent years, FOSTA amends Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act to hold online publishers, apps, and services legally liable for the actions of people who post there or connect through them. What this means in practice is that social media sites such as Snapchat and Facebook, classified ad sites such as Craigslist and Backpage, chat apps, search engines, and many other communication tools could be both criminally charged and sued in civil court—by individuals or by states—anytime anyone uses them to meet someone with whom... -----------------
There's a lot of information out there. I hope everyone is digging in and learning how to make sane changes w/o panic.

This is just another instance of our government sticking its nose where it dont belong, heaven forbid if they actually worked on something that might help the masses, like possibly healthcare? or something worth while, youve got to be kidding LOL
I can't find it. I noticed you went to proton mail. I have one set up but not sure yet if it will work with my website. Do you think they will shut down individual websites? Mine is pretty tame. Im wondering how deep this well will go...
