A light-hearted  question on a beautiful Sunday morning.

I've often wondered why a lady might get a pretty piece of lingerie, or in the case below a very revealing bikini, and yet leave the tag. I see this in Provider's picture galleries too.

When I've had the chance to closely 'inspect'    ;-)
a piece a lady is wearing, the tag she left on didn't even have the washing instructions on it.

Most lingerie can be hand washed, so....

If you leave the tag on, why? A couple minutes with a small set of sewing scissors and you are left with lingerie that really blends with your beauty.

(Again, not a post to criticize. As a guy, and one  who doesn't wear lingerie, lol, I just want to understand :-)   )

Have an awesome day!

I am the same way about tags!  I always cut mine out.  Especially for photo shoots!!!  In fact, I carry small manicure scissors in my make up bag for this problem.
Thank you for calling attention this very important offense, Tag Police.  ;)

Now, how do you feel about dirty soles of shoes in photos?

IDK about all products and garments but some items I keep the tag on because the item is brand name. For example: I'm not about to cut the tags out of my Agent Provocateur lingerie or my Burberry jeans... This reminds me to care for the items better while washing/drying and storing. Additionally if in a bind I could resell the items on ebay or somewhere. People are always hunting down brand name items for a deal.

But for the 25$ bikini or 50$ lingerie set, IDK why someone would leave the tags on unless they weren't visible.

Secondly. That tag does advertise Wicked Weasel which is an upscale, expensive Australian line of very revealing swimwear.

Cutting the tag off would somehow be sacreligious.

me either.
or why she even needed to wear the bikini lol lol

on a side note , some tags that are taken off can cause the garment to unravel or rip
So sometimes it is just easier to keep the tag on.

...put your leg through. I get so confused sometimes when I try on women's lingerie that it looks like my dick got caught all snarled up in a fight with the line from my fishing lure!  :D

Teeny Bikini does that also. I am somehow drawn to WW though, I think it's the fact they're sheer... Why go topless when you can frame your assets!

I'm ready.  I'm willing.  Let's Go!
Just don't be mad when I cut tags off.
I don't need a tag to  let me know something is of quality etc.  Quality shows clearly without tags.
I don't care to advertise something via tags...reminds me of shirts with crystallized name brands prominently displayed, which I find to be cheesy.

LOL!

Many, Many years ago when I worked at Nordstroms, very lovely ladies would come in and go on shopping sprees with gentleman. A couple of days later, they would come back in by themselves and return everything for the cash.

Nordstrom policy is to not question anything and give refunds.

Anyways, Would love to take you on a modeling trip to the lingerie section and have a little fun if you know what I mean. That would be HOT!   :)

cutting the tag off can leave a hole or worse yet if you cant cut deep enough into the seam you are left with a scratchy piece of tag which is uncomfortable.
Having said that - I DO cut my tags off if they are obviously visible.

Then there's the whole weird phenomena of "fresh"
I had never seen "fresh" until i came to America.  I was amazed at all the people walking about with full tags / carboard labels on plastic strings still on their sneakers, stickers on their hats etc.. they look like they had just walked right out of the store with a shoplifted item.
I asked my friend what it was about and he told me its called "fresh" - a concept that started in the ghettos and its supposed to show off that you purchased the item and didnt get a handme down/thrift store piece.  Has spread thru culture via the music and video media.

I think its absolutely ridiculous
