Vegas gets 23 slots, more than any other city, if I'm not mistaken. Using that criteria, one can reasonably figure out that Las Vegas is the best hobbying city in the U.S.

i've noticed, however, that guys in any given region or city have slightly different criteria for rating their ladies than would be found in other regions.  

that is to say, a 7/8 in los angeles would be considered a 9/10 in cincinnati (just pulled those cities out of the air, do not take that example literally).

i think we in los angeles have a higher standard, not to be elitist about it.  but this is the seat of international movie making, so there is a municipal law that every citizen must be a 7 or higher just to be allowed to go out in public.

therefore i think we mongers have less 9.87's to put on the top 100 list because we have high high standards.  not to demean other cities and their ratings parameters;  i just think we have taste.

the ladies here are fantastic;  but they have to work really hard to get those really high scores because there is so many wonderful competition out there in this region.

i would agree that las vegas might have a large percentage of gorgeous providers...i also like to peruse the nyc ads and chicago ads for those days when i want some new eye candy to fantasize about.

i am not disputing your original premise;  however, like everything in this hobby, ymmv.  i think here in los angeles we've got a pretty nice selection of gorgeous and capable women to choose from;  i think la is severely under-represented in the national top 100, because we are stricter in our score-giving.

i may sound like i'm being down on the ladies and mongers here in la;  that is not my intention.  i don't think there's anything wrong with having standards, and imo we have the best selection of women to choose from in the country, esp. in terms of percentage (way more great times to be had than so-so times).

so back to the op premise:  i will admit i have been considering a trip to vegas just to sample the wares there; however i'm also considering a trip to san diego and a trip to the bay area for the same reasons.

i'm happy with the selection here in los angeles; i wouldn't want to be in any other part of the country for this endeavor.

While I get the point you are trying to make, there really isn't any way to confirm if it is true or not.  Obviously your entire theory is based on your speculation and assumption, and really can't be proven without some in-depth analysis of scoring patterns between the cities (among ladies who work in both markets).  

And while your theory might actually be true, I'm not sure you can group yourself into the "we are stricter in our score-giving" group - considering 13 of your last 14 reviews are 10/10 scores.  I'm not saying there is anything wrong with giving out generous scores, and I'm sure the ladies appreciate it - but you actually seem rather lenient with your scores, more so than strict (again, I'm not implying that it's a bad thing to be generous).

and you caught me, i'm too liberal with my scores.  in reality, i score women only 3 ways in my head: will repeat, won't repeat, or ymmv (which means i didn't enjoy myself so much but the lady was competent and i'm sure there are guys that would like her).

also, i must apologize; i am recovering from major surgery and really very spacey;  i thought this was the los angeles board that i was posting on.  duh!

be assured that i love perusing the vegas board;  as i said, i am considering a trip to vegas just to sample the ladies there (waiting on an insurance settlement).  big fan of many of the ladies of vegas, and i don't think the percentage of vegas girls in the national top 100 is unearned.

I'm no mathematician, nor do I play one on TV, but consider into the calculus the rates charged by the top ladies in each market. If a 10/10 in Vegas charges $600/hour and a 10/10 in say Cleveland charges $300, which is the better hobby city? I guess that presupposes that the ratings are comparable, which others have already pointed out may not be necessarily so, but in terms of bang for the buck, do you prefer a greater number of 10/10 choices or a greater number of sessions with a smaller group of choices?

TER is more widely used here in Las Vegas than in other areas of the United States.  I know other boards are more popular in other parts of the United States.  Everyone travels to Las Vegas to have adult entertainment, so there are more providers here. However, I wonder about someone who has a 10 out of 10 on all of their reviews.  Are they really that good in bed?  There has to be a 9 once in a while. When I read someone stating in their review that she kissed me just like a real girlfriend how hot is that.  That does not sound very XXX to me.  

A little nervous to travel overseas on my own, but I am sure you could find better fare over in Europe at a far better price right now due to exchange rates.  I saw a post from Serena Vincente on our board and that is one woman I would consider travelling to have fun with while taking in the sights of London, England.  There is something about her that I find intriguing.  I have looked at escorts in Prague and they seem more stimulating than any I have ever seen.  Maybe it is just because I have not looked at their posts before

But if you live in Orlando or Dallas it is not going to do you too much good because you need someone that is local.  The rates are high here, but you just find the ones that fit neatly into your budget and they seem to work out pretty well.

No need to go overseas... just head up north of the border.  The exchange rate has become quite favorable to US dollar holders.  The Canadian dollar seems to move with the price of oil, which is extremely low right now.  I've paid between 69 and 72 cents for 1 Canadian dollar.  There are some really sweet gals in Vancouver and Toronto, and they are now available at around 30% off.  Thank you, OPEC!  I even have cheap gas prices for my 3 hour drive up to Vancouver.  Just livin' the dream...and stockpiling the Loonies.  LOL
