I have watched this absurd drama unfold concerning Asian Lover, Frankie Boy, and a couple of overpriced, overhyped, CBJ girls (I think they call themselves Vegas and Liz) over the past few weeks here, and, while I admit it's been pretty funny to laugh at the sheer stupidity of Asian Lover and FrankieBoy, I'm really sick of it, and really enjoyed the post by Big LV Guy at the bottom of the lengthly thread yesterday.
And, I have a litt;e suggestion:
If the legit people who post here (sorry, I can't name them all), including Big LV Guy, BChilson, Doc Gonzo, BoneBoyBob, Quzi, Harley, Little Phil,  Nikki Avalon, Sugar 20 Tasha, and many others, will simply IGNORE these people, IGNORE their posts, and just leave them to make asses of themselves, I think they'll go away.
Oh, and how can I forget the infamous Chloe Banks, who we waited breathlessly for at the GoKart Track about a month ago?  Neither she, nor any of her clones, managed to show up.
So, how about we IGNORE these assholes, and get back to what we're really supposed to be here for....good, old-fashioned, unadulterated FUN!
Oh, and, is anyone up for watching The Derby with me on May 3rd in Vegas?  BIG BROWN is a cinch!

I was hoping somebody would give me a cliff notes version of all this drama.  I think I'll take the advice of somebody that has 99 reviews.

And Jeffrey, I wouldn't call BB a cinch in the Derby at all. One of several front runners going 1 1/4 miles for the first time with 126 lbs. is never a lead cinch. Very, very weak crop of 3 year olds this year. But we were spoiled with all of the quality horses last year. I am more inclined to go with Ezeedude's pick, Col. John who won the SA Derby in impressive fashion. Good Luck Derby Day.

with you, Jeffrey, and Puck, and Samplin LV, that these guys will go away if we ignore them! If they were normal trolls, I would agree with you, but I'm afraid they're not. They are determined, I think, to advertise their dishonest and inferior "products" on this board. If those of us who know what they are doing ignore them, their posts won't diminish or stop. What is worse, those of us who DON'T know what they're up to (we were all newbies once, remember?), will become fair game to be swindled by these reprobates! Do we want this board to be used that way? I think we have a duty, almost, to protect the integrity of our board by warning everyone that these people aren't what they claim to be!

We don't know how many of them there are, either! We can guess that Frankyboy5150 and Asianlover702 are ringleaders of the group and that there are at least seven or eight shills for them like VegasEloquence and Sluvious. There are a lot more than three girls involved too. I think the count is more like ten to twelve! But all of these handles and aliases could conceivably belong to only one or two actual people! And more "girls" and shills can be invented at any time!

I'm sure Dingus is working feverishly to sort it out, and if and when he succeeds, THEN all this B.S. will stop! But until then, I don't see how we can let them post their lies with impunity, thereby giving them credence!

Now I'm SURE I'm in the wrong universe.

Actually, I've been intending to fade out slowly as a great new generation of "regulars" has been developing over the months. Then PG went insane, the Wild Ones rode into town, and the ladies began screaming at each other (while attaching seductive photos to their rants - isn't that rather odd?).

Now it's difficult to resist jumping in and making a big mess even bigger.

So - Here I am; having an opinion that no one gives a rat's ass about... as usual. What do I think..?

1. Where's Smarty to tell them to Go Piss Up A Rope?.. Oh.. yeah.. he's got his own deals going. This is, indeed, a weird fucking universe.

2. LJs gotta be laughing her ass off... possibly literally. This board has turned into her kind of environment. Maybe.. I'll start.. WRITING in her STYLE!!?? and then I won't.. MISS her Smartass.. SO MUCH!!?? LOL

3. #6 has yet to post a Chi quote in Mandarin while mentioning a celebrity's name. That could help.

4. Little Phil's doing one heck of a job of maintaining the front ranks of this shit storm. I'm impressed. Stick to it, dude.

5. Puck may be right (they'll go away if you don't acknowledge  them), but I suspect T.L. is right instead (no they won't)


All I know is that I still love Nikki Avalon, unconditionally, and that I wish Webbie were still around to capture this whole thing in one, awe inspiring summation.

TL, your point, as per your custom is very well thought out. The nice thing about normal social discourse is the ability to lay out your position in an intelligent fashion without the blinding affect of emotion and rancor.

It would appear to me that our only disagreement is our agreement on how best to approach the current problem before us. I would like to believe that most of us can agree that the likes of those you have mentioned do not have the staying power nor the intellect to survive here for long. Of that, I am convinced.

So TL, I concede your point. Time, as always, will tell but I think BChilson has summed it up the best in this thread.  LOL!

thanks for the kind words.  It's nice to see some people haven't completely lost their minds.  It's amazing to see what a little bumpin & grindin did for my mood.  you guys should all try it...lol

to label the long time posters as legit and the new posters as trolls and then to urge a boycott of the trolls? That kind of insular thinking has caused a lot of heartache in the world.

From my perspective on the east coast, it is not that black and white. Both groups have exhibited troll like behavior as discussion wanes and personal attacks take over.

Why not engage your antagonists in fair  discussion when they are urging a legitimate though debateable point and then ignore when they degenerate into name calling? That seems a far better solution than grouping all these people together for a boycott.

While A.L.'s grand conspiracy theory re Little Phil deserves eye rolling, he has made some legitimate points in other posts as have the other posters  labeled as trolls (well, maybe not Chloe Banks) .

I think the Board benefits from increasing the number of posters and not from attempts to drive them away.

Well, PG has mad cow or something, but I felt Little Phil did an excellent job of stating his concerns while staying quite positive overall.

I'm always trying for an open mind so, like you, I considered both sides of argument as possible - even though for me it meant suspending all I knew about a lot of very nice folks. What decided it for me was the way Little Phil was systematically attacked by a united group of recent newbies (with very sophisticated flamer skills) every time he laid out the issue in a positive, straight forward and level headed way. People who are trying to manipulate don't like simple. I believe the subsequent attacks on L.P. were only intended to disrupt his valid points, and misdirect the reader. Little Phil's eventual expletives came after he gave up getting beat to hell for speaking openly and mostly unbiased.

It's obvious these guys are trolls. Many of the "regulars" here have some real knock down drag out fire breathing BATTLES every now and again. It's easy to tell, though, that they all wanted to maintain some measure of respect, so we still could get along when it ended. Hell, I got so mad once that I erased every post I'd ever made, but it never occurred to me to begin posting wild and unfounded "facts" about folks. (Note - I must exempt P.G. from my point above. No telling when or why someone self destructs in public)

I see no indication that this recent gang of bullies cares one wit whether they've earned any respect, or ever intend to give it. These are not new blood for LVTER (though God knows it needs it). These are a virus that interferes with a really great forum where most anyone is welcome to jump in, and the drama is (usually) minimal.

I will agree with you that they are obvious trolls.

But if you go back and look at some of their earlier posts before the Lil Phil controversy they seemed okay.  And PG also provided useful posts before his recent meltdown.

Let's give them a chance, shall we? Otherwise Puck is right- feeding trolls is never a good idea.

As one who got royally mistreated here by lies of the grandest proportions thanks to the then-favored-now-scorned crowd, I'd just like to add that the hobby should be about FUN! Those of us who continue to live that mantra, win the game Do enjoy the ride, and don't be afraid to stand up for your rights if you get assaulted.  Freak people who seem important and all-knowing at first,  later become inconsequential when the truth of their true colors come out.

there is a prejudice among the "long time posters" against "new posters". I can assure you from personal experience that that is not true. When I moved to Las Vegas a little over two years ago, I was new to this board, and I was actually surprised at the open mindedness of the "regulars" about me. I was given what I considered a warm welcome, with perhaps some reservations which my subsequent actions would either dispel or not. PokerGent was one of the first hobbyists I met, because he had thrown the first party that I attended. It was a whole weekend affair that he had paid for himself and he did not even suggest donations. I was impressed with his friendliness and his generosity! Like most of us, I am at a loss to explain his recent obvious melt down.

But to prove my point further, let's not talk about me; let's talk about you, Marikod. You are relatively new to this board, and you have not been attacked, even though you have defended Frankyboy and have no reviews! When I saw your post about giving Franky a break and saw that you have no reviews, my first thought was "Oh no, they have invented another shill for their agency, which they claim does not exist." But I kept an open mind about you, and now I know that my first thought was mistaken. I'm pretty sure a lot of regular posters on this board had similar reactions. You are welcome here, Marikod, with perhaps some of the same reservations that applied to me and which SHOULD apply to everyone at first. But at least we know that you are genuine.

What you don't seem to understand is that we went through the same process with Frankyboy, Asianlover, and the rest of their cronies, and it became obvious to us that they are NOT genuine people! It has also become clear to most of us that the reason they are here is not just to disrupt this board and make themselves feel great about themselves like normal trolls, but to deceive us and seduce us into giving them our money under false pretenses. That makes them more than an annoyance to this community, which could best be dealt with by ignoring them. It makes them a DANGER! If people can't trust what they read on this board about who are the best girls to see, the very existence of this board is in question!

I hope that helps you understand the reactions of the regular posters to the posts of a lot of the recent newbies! It is not a matter of prejudice. It is more a matter of self defense!

If they have fooled me and these guys are really agency shills I may well join the "just ignore" bandwagon. I sense a lot of the friction derives from a local dispute and everyone seems to have more information than I do.

Reading from afar It can be hard to see that a post innocent on its face in fact masks an ulterior agenda. Example-Frankie gave a great review to Jade. Another guy charged her with upselling en media res. Frankie responded by posting to her that she should not do this. I thought- what a great way to handle this.Hard to see from this post that he is a troll.

But I do appreciate your thoughtful explanation rather than just blasting me which is kind of what I expected.

I have been following this too and it seems like both side are making some valid points, but it gets totally lost in all the name calling and put downs. I don't think that one side is totally right or totally wrong but rather right about some things and wrong about other things. This board does the best when real pertinent information is posted, regaurdless of whether it is posted by someone that has 100 reviews or 1 review.

Most of the people disputing the wisdom of experienced reviewers only have one or two reviews.

I don't see lack of reviews as a death sentence, but rather a lack of experience.  When I look back to my early days, there were things that I didn't know that I now do.  It doesn't mean that I (or other people with experience) can't make mistakes.  Rather, it just makes us question things that make sense on the surface, but just feel a little odd.  If you think we're just full of ourselves, that's fine.  When we question something, it's usually to point out something that might help someone with less knowledge that may have missed a subtlety.  If you don't want or need the help, simply pass on by.  Or make a stink about it.  Really, that's fine by me.  Anyone that knows me knows that I enjoy a little drama mixed in with my quest for poontang.

You are correct that the name calling has interfered with good information.  For my part, I regret letting others test my patience.  I know what they are, as do many others here.

You are correct in saying both sides have made some valid points.  I don't think either side has it totally right but rather right about somethings and wrong about other things.

We can not just throw out some one's opinion just because they have less reviews than someone that is challenging their opinion.

Everyone should stop the mud slinging and post the info they "know" not just "think" and let everyone read ALL the info so that way we can all get all the info and make educated decisions.

If anybody still harbors doubts that these couple of ladies aren't the scams that some of us have been speculating over, or that their recently arrived cheer leading squad aren't goons in on the deal (or possibly misguided newbies with an undeveloped sense of "up"), I encourage you to sign up and visit Vegas, Liz or Chloe.

We really need an independent investigation here. None of the usual posters on this board seem anyways near inclined to test the claims of a few ladies with terrible TER scores and the word of some rather suspicious acting newbies. If you doubt the observations and suggestions offered by Little Phil and many others, then be my guest. We'd love to read the reviews.

After all, this ain't rocket science. I'm certain you'll know 10 minutes into your hour just who's blowing smoke. I can say, for myself, I'd love to be proved wrong here... But I'm not about to fork over hard earned cash just to prove me right, either.

We must have a completely different opinion of what qualifies as "okay" because I couldn't find a single post by the 'noob squad' that didn't seem to be written for at least one of these purposes:

a) Shilling for one of their five "indies", all of whom have either been banned from TER and/or labeled as a rip off (or have at least one very bad review)
b) Pretending that Liz and Vegas are being severely attacked when asked the simple question, "Why were your reviews pulled"
c) Attempting to discredit any member of this board who can see through their BS by telling absurd lies and making unfounded accusations.
