When one first sees a provider, how do you initiate the meeting.  Do you hug, kiss or shake hands?  Or do you just exchange donations and get down to business?  I am wondering if there is a typr of etiquette.

For myself, I usually have a seat on the couch, and talk to the provider for a little while. During this conversation, I try to bring up friendly talk, tell them a little about myself and usually ask what her limits are. This usually leads to a more comfortable and enjoyable session.
