Put it in an envelope, leave the envelope in the bathroom, 'Don't mention the money!'

Why is money supposed to be left in an envelope? Is it Legal a legal issue or do  people feel a bit awkward about just handing it over/accepting it?

Paying is part of the buzz for me, kind of makes it all a bit naughty.

that a lady takes the donation at the beginning of the date, and I don't give a fat frog's ass if she counts it in front of me. I've found that putting the donation in a card, along with a little gift will make her more apt to open it at the beginnig. I just think that the lady will be more at ease if she is not wondering about the envelope, especially during a first meeting.

Ok guys here it is.  The envelope thing is lame and cheesy, I agree but its done this way for legal reasons.  According to the law, and I'm quoting loosely here, a prostitution charge is achieved by exchanging sex for money.  It starts with solicitation ie: "how much for a blow job" "200"  If this is as far as it gets, the parties in question only receive solicitation charges.  If money physically exchanges hands, from the client to the girl (usually an undercover vice officer to the girl) then she or they are charged with prostitution.  In some states/counties this is a misdemeanor the same as solicitation, and some states/counties prostitution is a felony charge.  This seems to be the prevailing factor behind the envelope payment method.

Unlike in the UK, money for sex in a private place is illegal in Las Vegas and almost all of the US hence all the 'don't mention the money/services' stuff.

I personally like the envelope idea. Once I get to my date I always go to the restroom where the envelope is and check to make sure its the right donation and change into a sexy number. Everyone has their own way of doing things... I like my way

I had to laugh when I saw this post .I have had someone run out of cards and gave me my girt in a soap box .I thought to myself ,its the tought that counts .In this case they were still trying to follow the discretion rule .I had to laugh when i saw it and he said sorry darling this is all i had

A funny guy used to do this , and I found it super cute :

First date with me , he placed Envelop in bath room and wrote "Happy birthday , Kim ! " ( it's not my birthday )

The next night he called me again and different envelop saying "Happy Anniversary , babe ! "

I remember him for life even he just a normal guy with a funny act . Same to guys who wrote review , I thanked and remembered them for life

Thats very cute .Gosh Kim were going to get old fast if we keep getting all these birthday cards.
