Several years ago when I first entered the Hobby I met a great provider in Vegas.  She is well reviewed and an active member of this community/board.  I had a wonderful time and since then I have often read her posts here and have always found them to be well thought and articulate.  I have never rebooked because during our session there was a comment made about her being "comfortable with married men as long as their wives know."  At the time I just thought okay I wont repeat.  Since then it has stood out to me that it seems a little crazy for an active provider to say that.  I totally get that if there didn't need to be any secrecy it would be easier and better, but its not really realistic for all of us.  Similarly I think all would agree that if there wasn't a concern of any LE  the hobby would be much better, but it is a challenge we have to overcome.   No other provider has ever said this and I haven't seen it anywhere.  I totally get that providers may judge their clients for many reasons and I am sure they have a good laugh about the scoundrels we can be, but most providers I speak to say that it would be a very tough profession without the $$$ brought by their married clients that require discretion.  I am curious what the board's thoughts are.....

I see are married so if I thought as long as the wife is okay I am okay with seeing a married gent I would not be working.It is rare that a wife is going to be okay with her husband seeing providers of course there are some cases where the wife knows and they have an understanding.
But,most of the times the wife does not know.
Everyone has their own comfort level so for the provider you speak of that is her comfort zone.

A provider has no place judging anyone ..... if she is judging , then she is in the wrong profession.

Cindy et al – just for clarification it was not a question posed to me it was near the end of the session and it came out in casual conversation.  I may certainly have misunderstood and maybe it was a joke – I probably was just so surprised and quite frankly new to the hobby that I missed it. Who knows…  

I use the alias for the same reason that I hobby discreetly and could never consider attending a MG as much as I would love to (don’t want to run into a business associate, employee or worse).  I can understand that it makes one question the post, but it is what it is.  The reality is I don’t think the post is that interesting and I’m not sure what my agenda would be - its not a conspiracy - just a curious comment I wondered what others woudl think about... Lastly Wife topic has no specific relation to LE except that I am sure most men would want NOT to get caught by either!  Thanks for the responses

In your OP you state this occurred several years ago.  Yet, as evidenced by your review log, you've seen numerous ladies since then.  In fact on a previous post you mentioned seeing 15 providers in recent years.  

So I'm jest trying to figure out the point of your inquiry at this point in time?    

However, I used to have an occasional beer with a couple local hobbyists and one of them indeed had the unequivocal consent of his wife to partake.  A rare, rare, extremely rare instance.

The "Et al" stands for and others so I was trying to respond to all the posts some of which suggested that it was a screening type question.  Probably should not have put your name first was simply trying to thank you specifically for responding.  My intitial thanks was genuine, but I can honestly say I regret that I ever posted at all.  Ironically, despite your claims of being nonjudgemental, you seem way to willing to JUDGE every detail of a simple post, use of alias etc.
