I saw Lion King and the costumes are unreal.  

Also saw Beatles LOVE at the Mirage and even though I am not a HUGE Beatles fan, it was a great show for my wife and I.

Our friends have great things to say about Jersey Boys.

Rita Rudner was very funny.  she has a unique style.  

Finally, Carrot Top is funny but I'd go to that half drunk.  He goes fast and it can be hard to keep up with him so if you are half drunk, you won't care that you miss some stuff.

Stay away from Chris Angel it was a real disappointment.

as a fluke I ended up seeing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club (The Cheap Trick version)at Paris.  I was stunned how fun it was.  Small theater, big sound, great show.  Got the 1/2 price tickets at the booth across from ARIA.   Was good....IMHO

Know some folks in the biz and they say that Jersey Boys is by far and away the most economically sucessfull show in Vegas the last 6 months (not that making a bunch of dough in and of itself means its a great show). But I have seen a ton of shows in Vegas, including Jersey Boys, and it is certainly in my top 5, especially if you like that kind of music. The band and vocals are just outstanding. Kind of old school but Mystere is still in my top 5 after all these years.

Thunder from Down Under is good but I enjoy Chippendale's the BEST!!!!!!!!!

Phantom at the Venetian

I think O is the best show in Vegas.  Incredible stage and pretty good acrobatics but not at Mystere's level.  Jersey Boys and Love are also excellent.  I disagree about Lion King.  Sure the costuming is really interesting and clever but the music is mostly lame Elton John not at his best.
