I thought every Sunday starting this week, I would start a top five list of all things pertaining to Vegas. Will give the visitors here, as well as the locals an idea on what providers and hobbiest's alike, feel is/are the best places in each category here in Vegas. *Smile*

Let me know what you all think!

Although I'm a pretty frequent visitor, nobody knows the town like the ladies.  Good idea Lorsha.

Here are my choice's for the top five shows in Vegas. I think by now I have just about seen them all. *Wink*

1) Le Reve  -  I feel this one is a cut above all the rest. The theatre is the most amazing and intimate of any I have been to, with the 360 degree seating, with all the action in the middle.  Whether your sitting up high, or low, the view is absolutely wonderful. It is a cirque "type" aqua show with a great role playing type story, and great special effects!

2) O  -  For me this is the best cirque show in Vegas. I guess I am into the aqua themed shows! lol.

3) Terry Fator  -  While Jeff Dunham is still my favorite ventriloquist ( I see him EVERY time he comes to Caesars! ) Terry is also quite a talent. Fast paced show, with quite a bit of singing. He has an amazing voice ...

4) Donny & Marie  -  Yes your reading this right! Don't knock it until you have seen them. They have tremendous showmanship, and put on a great 90 minute show. They still sound very good, and there is just something about the "feel good" vibe of this show. With a VIP ticket meeting them backstage is awesome. They actually spend time talking with you, and genuinely seem to enjoy it.

5) Mystere  -  The original cirque show in Vegas still shines brightly. Great stunts, a very cute story and great seats anywhere.

- - - Would have been number one if he had not passed - - -

That would be Danny Gans. The single greatest entertainer I have ever seen. I hope many of you had a chance to see his show in the past.

Well there is my list. Let the debate begin! List your top 5's folks.

I LOVE Zumanity...nothing like a little sexual comedy to get the night going personally I woud see Zumanity over Le Rev but I think it depends on your mood for what you would like to see that evening :) Im also a big fan of BMG at the Venetian everytime Ive gone I always leave with a big smile :)

Cheetah's is where a lot of locals go (I hear). When I went during the day it was very friendly and low key, with very low-pressure. It was the exact opposite of the showy Vegas/touristy clubs (i.e. Spearmint Rhino, Sapphires). Treasure's has a great steakhouse and great attitudes from all as well.

Anyway, my list for top 5 shows:
(1) The Lion King. I have a hard time following stories presented in musical format, but here I already know the story so I could just sit and enjoy!

(2) Zumanity - because it has a little bit of every kind of show in it (comedy, stunts, topless dancers, etc).

(3) Ka - because a giant friggin' moving stage with people fighting up it is just plain cool!

(4) Peepshow - My favorite of the adult-themed shows I've seen on the strip. Talented cast, good singing, hot ladies. :)

(5) Fantasy - Not quite as good as peepshow, but a close runner-up for all of the same reasons.

Italian place. There used to be one on DI and Maryland Pkwy Ari and Angella used to take me to(not together) but it burnt down. So need a new good, real Italian place. Would like one by lunch Tuesday, but...
I know, I know... "dude, do your own research" and "Way to prepare... NOT" ha ha

I would recommend either of these websites:

www.yelp.com
www.tripadvisor.com

My favorite steakhouse in LV is Vic & Anthony's down town.  It is strictly old school, but so am I.

I would also recommend the hofbrauhaus for lunches.
