I'm in town for CES and I decided I'd like to have some company one night if possible.  Unfortunately I'm completely new at this and don't have references (but looking to get some!).

I also run my own business so the company/phone number in contact forms doesn't really work for verification (however it's easy enough for me to prove who I am via alternate means).

Anyone have suggestions on how to proceed?  I am VIP and did shoot some emails out explaining my situation but no responses back yet.

You don't mean an "oinker smell" do you.

1) You're a paranoid fool. 2) Cops aren't pigs. They don't make the laws. They're simply doing their job. 3) Aren't you a man of a certain age? Jumping all over almost every newbie, constantly accusing people of being Law Enforcement or trolls, is really childish. Grow up!

I think the problem is more one of priorities. Instead of the "Protect & Serve" thing (which is much harder work not to mention more dangerous), they often just go after low-hanging fruit and allocate their finite resources to things like Vice.  Personally, I wish they re-assigned every cop on Vice to other beats like patrolling neighborhoods heavy in meth-induced robbery and burglary or adding more DUI checkpoints.  But that's just my opinion.
