First time poster, long time post reader . I had a new experience today. A well-regarded lady here replied to my appointment request by essentially saying "no thanks, I see that you score low and I'm not interested in lowering my average". I told her that I understood and obviously she can see/not see whoever she chooses. But this was a new one for me. I'm honest in every review, and try to be fair. Is this a normal practice? Should I only post glowing reviews?

I think there could have been a nicer way for her to say she is not interested. If every single review or more than half of your reviews are super negative, then I feel most likely it wouldn’t be the women who are the issue and I would feel the same as her.Same goes for looking for a provider. If all of her reviews are negative except one or two then you might consider looking for someone else because it raises a red flag. I don’t think I would ever turn someone down based on how they review unless all of their written reviews are just plain mean and that provider had all great reviews except yours. If that makes sense.Honesty is appreciated because if I were to get a bad review I could try and figure out how I could make it a better experience.This is just my personal opinion of course. Xoxo

If you have a higher then average raitng score  
with your reviews , why take a chance  for a lower rating,  when its obvious your worth more.. 😙   So Some Principles are worth more then money.

It worked, she saw me and we had a great.  I mean, you don't have to review everyone one meet.

I just read several of your reviews, they are all very pleasant and appear honest, they are exactly what is requested. Your scores seem to be very close to the low side of their averages, for example if their average is 7.53, your score is a 7.  I think I found one where your score was higher, in this example it would an 8. You are the classic fair reviewer.  

Most people know me here, and I think over the years I have built a pretty good reputation of being honest. Yes, I did turn him down. I could have lied to him and came up with another reason, but that would not have served one of the reasons I did it. I feel he needed to know, and maybe that would help other ladies going forward.
But the main reason is more selfish than that. I had just received another review from a crackpot who gave me a 7-8 rating, and I was still pretty upset when bigjerm101 contacted me. That 7-8 is totally fake! I do not live in an apartment complex and have never seen anyone in an apartment complex. I do not do p2p, and he could not have contacted me via texting. Plus referring to me as "tits on a stick" was insulting and demeaning. I contacted TER several times and they are jerking me around and not taking my word for it (they could look at other reviews). I get really mad when the guys word is taken over the ladies word!! They want to "see what he has to say first". What a bunch of BS.
Here's the main reason I turned him down. That one bad review took me from a 30 ranking in LV all the way down to a 39 ranking (because of chemistry and location score). How much did that cost me?
So if TER will not protect me, then I need to protect myself! This is my life. This is how I live and pay my bills.
"Bigjerm101" I'm sorry you caught me at a moment when I was pissed. I'm sure you are a nice guy. I have never done that before. But at the same time, I don't regret it. It felt kind of good to be in control. Will I do it again? Maybe, depends on the circumstances

When I look at the cost of services & read the reviews I see the score is very low because the providers tend to be not as attractive as the higher end escorts who charge more. Please let me know if I am wrong.  I am not trying to be rude, but honest yes indeed always.  You either respect my candor, or you don't.

Poor guy now won't get a date now in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati of where ever he farts around. Poor guy to be told basically that "You score too low to see me". I get it, you need to keep a certain profile. But maybe it's me, but it doesn't seem cool to post his name here.
Reach out to TER, pull this response....if you want. Or reword it.

We all do. But doing all you can to make  it right is what is most  important.  I would  hope that as you say the "real girls " who now know the real story would support   you and spread  the word that  this was  a mistaken  identity.  

You have so many great reviews that an individual average or even below average wouldn’t matter. I would assume it’s an outlier.  I have seen you and you live up to the hype.

This topic brings up the concern of writing a review that might be critical of a provider.
I want to be honest and provide info for fellow hobbiests, but by doing so, do I mark myself as a potential 'low-grader' and risk not seeing someone in the future?

It can run both ways, but regardless, making stuff up sucks and dishonestly shouldn't be allowed.  With that said, the one thing on the client side that bugs the hell out of me is TER not allowing no-shows to be posted in the review section (an equally problematic issue for clients...we really need to know that one).

Sorry you got slammed by a "Slobiest", couldn't you try to get the fake review removed? I'm not sure how to do it, but it is possible. My ATF was slammed w/ a crappy TER review and she was able to get it deleted.

Most everyone, guys and girls, totally missed the point of my reply to this post. It's not about the review, and I DO KNOW how to get fake reviews removed. I don't whine on this board about fake reviews...never have and never will. And I get my fair share.
I was making a statement (when I thought is was someone else) that I will pick and choose to protect myself. I was trying to be honest. I was also upset with TER for not doing a little more to protect us, so we have to find ways to protect ourselves.
Choice is what I was mostly getting at.

I would not opposed to no shows able to post in review, as long as can prove they no show. Just how do you propose you can prove a provider no show. And of course it would need to apply to clients as well.  

So what would you constitute as proof?  Texts/emails?  I certainly could have provided those on any of the situations I've experienced.  Even have the phone records showing the numbers the texts were sent from.  But I imagine someone could still say, the actual text was fake.  I think at some point it gets down to the integrity of the clients and providers.  The biggest red flag for me has been multiple reports of activity (but you can't see that if none are allowed).  I personally think too much is being made here of the one-and-done post.  In the situation described above, I wouldn't be overally concerned or give a lot of credibility of a single post that was fake or low, provided there was a history of solid reviews (I would just treat it as an outlier).  But it's the provider's business, so she can run it anyway she wants.  With that said, couldn't someone that doesn't have any history at all of posting reviews still give her a bad review?  How would she prevent that?  Now we're getting into mind reading.

Hobbyists give low scores at times and others give high ones.
Also some low scoring hobbyists, give other providers high scores after their dates at times too.
It should be the providers overall body of reviews, that says everything about her business.

This thread caught my eye because I'm finding myself impacted in a different way than mentioned here.
As a "seasoned" age gentleman with long-term physical/medical challenges, I seek occasional interludes where my primary desires are a). polite/respectful GFE provider b). intimate caressing c). DFK d). decent massage and, if I "feel up to it," a basic HJ (I'm also a sucker for big breasts!).
Any lady that provides me with this I want to award a 9 or 10 review rating.
However, my reviews get rejected because they do not specially describe full-service intercourse, bbbj, cim, etc. were included.
I was informed by the "TER police" they would only publish my reviews if I lowered my ratings to a "7" (even though I felt I received service deserving of a 9 or 10).
Luckily, I have seen a few ladies on my Vegas visits who treated me fantastic (Kellie Sinz, Brianna Wildman, her friend Darla and Teedra Diora) & truly deserve a 9 or 10 and I refuse to lower my scores to a 7..
But I've stopped doing reviews because I couldn't give them the 9 or 10 ratings they made the effort to deserve.
Just this week, I have reached out to a couple of new ladies about a GFE outcall to the hotel I plan to be staying and they initially responded they are available to see me. But then I received a follow-up message that they read my past reviews and  now refuse to see me due to my "low scores." No need to name them as I would be the first one to remind ladies to "protect their brand." But it sure hurts and puts a crimp in my visits to Vegas !! Thank you for letting me vent, VR

You should never be pressured into giving high scores.
It should be based on a provider earning it.

I also agree with Kat and everything she said. Great idea's too! I would also add that I think it would be awesome to be able to reply one time to the review. Give our opinion, and be able to say what is not true. I hate the feeling of having my hands tied and can't defend myself.  Yes, for sure, the system is definitely old and broken. Why should guys be able to write two reviews for free memberships? That's just asking for trouble. Why do the guys get the benefit of the doubt? Regarding reviews, TER is for sure, pro guys. I'm still fighting with TER regarding that same review. I won't stop because I feel like I have been violated and now I am just pissed off because they are not listening.
So yes, to protect myself even if just a little, I will pick and choose who I see based on how the guy reviews. And based on what I am reading, I'm glad I am not the only one to do it!

Yes, good point, and unfortunately I'm sure that happens too when the ladies try to fight a bad review that is real.

....but thinking about it - I'll be there are many more fake reviews being reported to TER by the ladies, than there are real poor reviews being reported by the ladies. And that is why TER should listen more carefully..

I think you missed his point.  He actually wanted to give higher scores (no pressure to give them).  He was not allowed to give them by TER, which ended up screwing him over by providers not wanting to see him.  In essense, TER was responsible for him being blacklisted.

OK, then strange wording on your initial reply.  In particular, the part about pressuring into giving higher scores.  And he could have simply replied back to the provider who explained why she didn't want to see him.  The fact that you're saying he has to explain his scores every time he contacts a provider is really no different than "pressuring into giving higher scores" since you're implying he's being pressured to explain his scores.  Do you understand that?
