would you prefer a nice gift bag filled with items off of your wish list, such as gift cards, wine,perfume etc, or would you prefer extra cash, i personaly would feel uncomfortable with the extra cash part, at least with the gifts it would feel more like meeting up with an old friend, but what is the norm? or does it matter are you happy with either?  trying to figure out what to do for the lady we will be meeting in a few weeks. thanks for any advice you can give me.

She might have some likes and dislikes on her website, I would check them out and surprise her.
$$ is good, but getting a small gift, in addition to a tip, might be appreciated and shows you care enough to research what she likes.

We appreciate the extra thought and effort in whatever form it is given.  Whether is extra $$ or gift cards, or panties and chocolate.  Bottom line it's what makes your feel happy and special as well.
