Looked at a few places for upcoming trip.   That Virgin Hotel was dead inside when I was there in May, Sportsbook not even open, still, no RaceBook at all, no Ultimate Texas Holdem
Tables at all, and room prices totally ridiculous.   Orleans and Gokd Coast are old & danky,  Palms is shuttered now, M is so overpriced it’s a bad joke, and both Red Rock & Green Ranch are really out of the way.   I ended up booking at one of the overpriced Strip hotels.   Everything is so overpriced now, I might as well be convenient.   Good luck!

I have been staying at the same couple of casinos for years looken  for something off the strip any suggestions

Some suggestions for hotels off the strip

The new Virgin Hotel and Casino (Formerly the Hard Rock Casino)—on Paradise and Harmon
Red Rock Resort in Summerlin
Green Valley Resort in Henderson
SouthPoint, Silverton, and the M are all south of the strip

Hope that helps

Agree, in May, the Virgin Hotel was weak.  They just had their grand opening in June and all the sports book, Money Baby’s, SHAG are now finally open.  Time will tell if the Virgin Casino is a flop or not although I can’t see it being as good as the Early Hard Rock Days.   Spent last weekend there and I can tell you the scenery /eye candy was spectacular.
