My dates are normally 4 hour dinner dates and from time to time I'll book 5 hours if a show is included.  With that being said, for a  dinner date, it's an hour and a half to enjoy a relaxing dinner.  Then 2.5 hrs for private activities.  

For a pool date, does one normally just get a cabana, drinks, and then go up for privacy.  Are food served at the pool area?  How much are cabanas?  Do you rent by the hour?  and how long does a provider expect to be at the pool?  How many hours should be booked for a pool date?  

Sorry for all the questions.

It really depends on you and what you seek .

You can get anything you want at your cabana .  
In my experience with pool dates I have done many different scenarios , some we never needed to go to the room for private time we had plenty of fun right in the cabana.  

Most places give you a food and beverage credit when you purchase a cabana so you eat and drink the cost .

It's almost pool season and I can't wait.

Thank you for the insight.  I didn't realize the cabana was so private that play is available and you don't have to go back to the room.  I actually thought it was out in the open.  I will check out your website.

Some of the pools have loaded cabanas with their own fridges stacked with drinks, tv, wifi , ipod dock, food service.. theres really no need to go anywhere else they are like mini hotel rooms!

Its tremendously difficult to find pricing as the hotels all ask you to "inquire" about a reservation ... and the prices fluctuate depending on day/time. what events are in town .. the usual Vegas system (*rollseyes*) But I did mange to scoop up a list albeit from 2013 but it should give you a ballpark idea:
