...as Sheri's does not have a stellar reputation in such matters. Either way, it wasn't right and I'm sorry that your brothel experience wasn't all it should have been.
Take care and have a great holiday season, Al.

Can anybody give directions from Sherri's Ranch to the Chicken Ranch??
Distance??
If you can findthe Chicken Ranch, then Sherri's is next door.
Directions From Las Vegas:
Interstate 15 South to Pahrump Exit #33. Turn right (west). After 45 minutes or so, the divided highway goes down to two lanes. Start looking at the street signs, you will pass C.A.A.S. Rd., then Digger Drive and then Carpenter Canyon. You are close, the next sign on the left will be Gamebird Rd. Turn left (west) on Gamebird Rd. and go about 3 miles. Turn left (south) on Homestead Rd, drive 6 miles and we're on the left @ 10511 Homestead Rd. Look for our World Famous Chicken Ranch neon sign.
Sheri's is just down the road, on the same side.
The road you turn off 160 to the left is Manse rd. take it to Homestead. Gamebird is about a mile too far, tho you can take it. Homestead will be the second stop sign.
Negotiated a rate commensurate with average escort ($300 for the hour) and after 25 minutes some asshole was banging on the door telling me time's up. I went another Ben to finish the hour and the dickhead was back in 10 minutes. $400 for 35 minutes and I never did finish.
Never, never, ever again. That place is the WORST.
Al,
I've been patronizing the Chicken Ranch for over ten years now, and I've never, ever had anything close to the experience you described. I have heard about such things occurring at Sheri's Ranch next door, but in most cases it was the behaviour of the client himself caused most of the problems, not the working ladies or the house (not that I'm accusing you of being anything other than a complete gentlemen here, Al).
BTW, I also regularly patronize independent escorts so I know the poor reputation the brothels have in general here in the hobbyist community. In my opinion, it is often a very undeserved rap, however. Al, I'm sorry your experience wasn't up to your expectations, but I don't believe it's typical, especially at the CR. It's certainly not been my experience there. Did you complain to brothel management about what occurred?
Regards,
Speed Racer
I did not - I figured it was brothel management banging on the door. What would be the point?
Your assumption may not have been correct. Even if it was correct, there's no harm in asking.
You've missed the opportunity to find out.
Personally, I don't care if you go back there or not. I have no financial interest in their success, but I do know more about the place than you probably realize. As Speed Racer mentioned, that's not their typical way of operation.
Or, to put it another way, have you never seen people running down hotel hallways pounding on doors for kicks?
But how exactly do you KNOW it was management if you didn't see who was knocking on the door? Sometimes, unscrupulous girls in a brothel will work together to short customers like this and they count on the guy assuming it was management doing so and not reporting what happened to the house. I'd be surprised if that's not what occurred in your case, but you'd never really know either way unless you complain. If you did tell management your story and it then met deaf ears, then I wouldn't have a problem with you publicly blaiming both the house and the lady. But to simply assume and then denigrate the brothel when they may not have known exactly what happened, well IMHO I don't believe that's necessarily fair.

Speed Racer
Like Speed Racer, I have been a CR patron for well over 10 years. A trademark of Chicken Ranch is to have management let you out the door after your party is over. The manager will ask you if you had a good time. I've partied there many times and every time I leave, that exit question is asked. I inquired of one manager why they always asked that. Chicken Ranch wants it's customers to return. One party I booked started out where the lady and I seemingly had some chemistry, but within a few minutes we both realized it wasnt working at all. No bad karma, just a simple mutual realization things fell apart. I was escorted out, the manager asked and the lady was present and she said I might want a refund. No questions asked it was offered, but I wanted a party and another lady was found. The ladies at CR are very much in control of the time management of their sessions. I've never gotten a knock on the door...and the house has always been extremely hospitable. I wish I could say the same for SHeri's next door, but that place gives me a weird ass vibe.

I can't swear it was CR - it could well ahve been Sheri's. As three gentlemen have stepped up for CR I must believe what they tell me - if I'm out that way again I may have to give it a chance.
Thanks for the feedback!

...the major rebuilding of Blue Diamond Road (Nevada S.R. 160) and the reloaction of its interchange with I-15 (Exit #33) has reportedly been completed. This greatly eases the first few miles of the trip out to Pahrump from Sin City. I will be updating my LPIN Driving Directions soon with this information (see separate reply below for information on these detialed directions and accurate maps).
Regards,
Speed Racer
I live out here and while there is still some work going on it's not impacting traffic from I-15 to the RR tracks at Jones. You still have the issue of long lights at Rainbow and Buffalo at times.
Pete,
Thanks for the in-person perspective! Though I'm very familar with the area, I live over 1500 miles away and rely on locals like you to keep me updated on the progress of such projects (at least until I can get out to visit Nevada again and see for myself). I strive to keep my Driving Directions as up-to-date as possible and any first-hand information to assist in that task is always appreciated.
Would you be so kind as to drop me an e-mail - to [email protected] - to let me know which of the new stoplights along Blue Diamond have been activated so far?
Many thanks and have a great holiday season!

Speed Racer
Most rely on USGS base maps, some of which are more than 40 years out of date, with little field checking (especially in rural and other remote locations). They may show roads where only footpaths exist, or try and route you on roads that either don't exist or take you completely out of the most direct way to your intended destination.
That's just one reason why I created my LPIN Driving Directions several years ago, to provide accurate, up-to-date information and specific, detailed maps to guide potential brothel patrons directly to Nevada's many cathouses. Please see my separate reply below for more information on my independent, non-commercial directions pages.

well, take little phil's info but the exit off the I-15 you want is the Blue Diamond/Pahrump exit which is south of the strip.
Don't remember how far but I would guess at least 40 miles one way if not more. You really don't want to pay a cab to get there (or back).
Sheri's and the Chicken Ranch are practically neighbors so it's not far to go between the two.

from one to the other, to answer your question. It's a matter of yards, not miles, and they're on the same solitary road.
If you mean directions from Las Vegas, however, there's good answers above. Don't be fooled by the CR's reference to "minutes" as a rule of distance, though. 45 minutes "or so" may be correct in a Viper at 3 AM, but Blue Diamond is a high volume commute corridor.
It's not an unpleasant drive once you get past the suburbs. DON'T take a cab, as that bill will be padded silently onto your fee (and does make it difficult to back out if the will wilts, or the comely lass' aren't so). If you need to, rent a car. Your hotel desk can arrange one.
...are available from my LPIN Driving Directions web pages. Unfortunately, I can't directly link to them here without violating TER rules (since their host site also contains a message board), so just do a web search on the keyword phrase "Speed Racer's LPIN Driving Directions" and you should find them post haste.
BTW, one of the reasons I created those pages in the first place was because the online mapping and directions services were so crappy. Many still are, though some have gotten a bit better. More than a few though will still route you way out of the way if you don't know any better. My maps and directions are all throuroghly researched and kept as up to date as possible, giving you landmarks for both day and night navigation, plus other valuable information (such as phone numbers and GPS info) for the savvy brothel visitor. They are commercial-free and on an independent website dedicated to the subject of Legal Prostitution In Nevada (LPIN). Hope you and everybody else finds the information there useful!
Holiday season regards,
Speed Racer
