I read a post down below that because of some silly city ordinance..no touching or lap dances in the city...is that true?? I'll be there tomorrow and need to know. I plan on seeing a provider, but want to go to club first to really get in the mood.

Unless things have changed, that ordinance that was passed back in 2003 or so made it so that the clubs within the city limits were not bound  by that, i.e. O.G.'s. The boundaries I sort of forget, but I seem to remember thath the southern city boundary was about Sahara, making clubs south of that bound by the ordinance, therby making CHToo OK and Treasures no OK. However I have found that it makes not much difference from my own experiences..
Or have they passed a new law in the pas month?

a judge overturned a lower court ruling and lap dances are now illegal in the city limits...but as My dear Evil Twin stated...just stay our of the city limits.

Anything south of Sahara Ave is OK...Sin, Sapphires, Spearmint Rhino, Club Paradise etc...are all in the county.  Also, Palomino Cub is in North Las Vegas so it should be ok...

If in doubt ask a taxi driver, they can take you to the places where lap dancing is still allowed.

Many of the clubs will pay the cabbies a finders fee of $30 for each load they drop off.  They will take you to the clubs which pay the highest fees, so you could wind up at a "clip joint"  If you are concerned with the new "law" then stay NORTH of Sahara...OG's, Cheetahs, Little Darlin's, and the Palomino which is in North Las Vegas, and pretty good I might add since the new ownership and management.

City limits start on the north side of Sahara Ave...so if someone stayed North of Sahara Ave....they would be in the city limits, and hence subject to the no lap dance law....go to the places SOUTH of Sahara Ave.

I seem to recall that the problem started with Galardi and the then new Jaguars club which he was building which was south of Sahara.  Forgive me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that north of Sahara was county and south of Sahara was city.  This is one of the few cities where downtown is actually north.  Who knows??? This city is so mixed up anyway with city, county etc

I was having anal within 5 minutes of arriving at Spearmint Rhino.
So it was with a bouncer and he was pitching, but hey, how was I supposed to know you have to pay for lap dances?

North of Sahara = city
South of Sahara = county

The famous Las Vegas strip is NOT in the city of Las Vegas.  See, everything here is an illusion.

Are they really enforcing this?  I doubt it.  Without lap dances, Vegas will become an empty town in the desert.  Just can't imagine LE enforcing this knowing how important this activity is to tourists.

Hell, they completely ignore all the drugs overflowing in the rest rooms of every club in town...why would they care about lap dances?

The city of Las Vegas grew up from the original town, located in what we know of as downtown Las Vegas (Fremont Street).  Downtown Las Vegas is north of Sahara.  Thus south of Sahara is outside of Las Vegas, i.e. county.

The law was that  out of the city, i.e. south of Sahara was subject to more stringent laws, and clus in the Cuty , i.e. north of Sahara at least on the southern boundary was in the city and not subhject to the more stringent laws. This is from girls I personally know that are strippers  and this goes back to the laws passed when that,  well real loser city council person had something up her butt about lap dancing. Though to be honest I have not see it make a differnec as I have had fantatic times in places here you are not supposed  to have them .. read between the lines.

Well after doing some research and talking to a ew girls this is more confusing that eer. While it appears that the "law" has not changed, the couret has re-interpreted and layed down a new editct, that I  sure as hell hope goes down in flames, becasue it is more ambiguous than anything I have see regarding lape dances. THe obvious  thing is  that perhaps LE need so spend more time doing dirty  work. i.e. street crimes. .. drugs  whores on the street and their pimps. Oh  WTf that would be work, What was I thinking? Better the vice can spend time during January ( when it is too cold for these LE vice cops to be on the street) in a posh club and busting girls for doing virtually nothing. Believe me I have my share of real life  sitauations from girls I know that are total BS that vice plays to the hilt.
Whay the hell are they trying to stop this whren they fail miserably stopping street drugs and violent crimes.  Don't even get me started on ths one. Who the hell elects these people?
