It's easy to argue against using an alias when you're the white knight or shill.  It's a whole other issue if you use your "real handle" to criticize a popular escort especially when you want to see others in the same city.

After you've been around for a number of years like me you learn that a bad review or a critical post opens you up to a thrashing from white knights.  It can affect who will or won't see you and of course you have no idea what the provider might be saying about you on the private provider only board. And some of these providers are personal friends of the moderators which can also have some influence about how the post is handled (this is a generic statement - I have no idea of this board's moderator knows her or not).

People want to believe the fantasy and anyone who criticizes it is demeaned.  Also, many providers have loyal friends who will jump into defend them.  How many hobbyists have someone who will jump in to defend them?  So, as you can see, the deck is stacked against the hobbyist whenever he makes a critical post.  For that reason and the fact that the OP used his real handle, I would tend to believe what he is saying, as he is knowingly exposing himself to a lot of criticism.

I have to use an alias because i've tried the other approach and it hurt me personally even though my posts were accurate. So I don't buy the argument that posts under an alias have no value.

I have seen Tasha both before and after her name change. At one time she was my ATF. And while she didn't directly steal money from me the reason I stopped seeing her was because of lies, manipulation, and similar behavior.  So based on what the OP has posted, previous similar posts by others, PMs, and my personal experience none of this surprises me.  When she was my ATF I would never believe what the OP posted.  I now know better.

If you did this to a provider in reverse and had her thinking she was going away for a week and you did not give her a deposit (that she could keep in case you blew her off)  and you blew her off last minute- i am sure a that provider would probably never see you again (because she probably blew off many other appointments because she thought she was going away for a week and if there is a message board on the provider side she would probably post it on there to "warn" other providers that you did not come through on a commitment---etc

So --if it happens that a provider --makes a commitment to spend time with someone and then blows off that person at the last minute and that person bought tickets and hotel based on that committment and could have just stayed home and kept the money he spent on travel to see others locally then that seems like something other people should at least be told as well just like the reverse above

When I read your posts in the last year, I thought it might be a happy-go-lucky persona that you wanted to convey, but as I can see in this thread, it has not been an act.

When I started this hobby almost 6 years ago, I wouldn't classify myself as a White Knight, but I tended to be on the provider's side. . . the benefit of a doubt thing, you know.

Then I got very involved in the hobby, especially with the second provider whom I saw. For the next two years I paid for her service on the average of once a week. I don't just hang out occasionally with her, I got involved in many aspects of her life. It turned out she had a boyfriend and at the same time was married, twice in that period of them. She didn't have to lie to me, I wasn't going to be her boyfriend. but see did.  However. she dealt drugs which I didn't know. Her husband didn't even know she ran a brothel until the cops looked him up. (By the way, he's a physician.) He divorced her and she married her boyfriend. What I am trying to say it that deception is the nature of this business.

I was active with my circle of friends in this hobby; some of them are screeners and schedulers. I, and they as well, learned the other side of many providers. Many providers tell you how great you are and talk shit behind you. It is not that all providers are deceptive, I know decent ones; but for those who deceive, when they do, they are very good at it. That's what they provide -- fantasy.

I still say he could put this to bed by negotiating a local trip - or several - and not 'banking' on someone who, for whatever reason, finds it difficult or impossible to fly long distances to overcome their phobia just for him. I have loaned money to ladies and have been paid back in cash or pleasure. Only one person did not pay me back. It is between the two of us and as someone said already about if they needed it, what makes you think they can pay you back.

That said, I only had one other person in my life not pay me back everything owed. Also a lady in trouble, but a friend and coworker then. Don't get all upset. You give loans to help someone out. If they screw up, why raise your blood pressure over it. Mind you when someone does pay you, then you do get to feel good for helping.

I have gone on extended trips and I have paid much more than the OP did in this instance. In a few cases, it was up front. No drama, it is a business. I did several small trips prior to taking a long trip.
I guess if the OP did know about her flight issues, it would have been best not to temp the great god Murphy as he did. No excuses for her as to why she would have accepted.
