Just got stood up by a well reviewed provider.  Got screened and appt set up two days ago, email and text communications were friendly and enthusiastic. This afternoon, I sent a text saying I was looking forward to the appt tonight.  No reply.  Time of appt, I text her again several times followed by an email.  No reply.

Since you are using an alias, I have no idea of your experience. All I know if you choose to see escorts, no matter what city, experiencing a NCNS is bound to happen. Some will say it happens more often in Vegas than other cities , but it's almost impossible to prove it.  

With all the hobbying I have done in Vegas and elsewhere, it's only happened to me 3 or 4 times.  Most of the providers use burn phones.  When they run out of minutes, they have no way to reach you, particularly if you are texting.  Some of the more seasoned ladies have a regular non burn phone they use for business.  I had that happen to me with a provider I have seen many times, and she was highly apologetic.

Yes, burn phone running out of minutes is possible.  But email is always available.  You are right, being professional means being respectful of other people's time.  This provider is very young and probably not at maturity level to understand that you don't treat people this way, let alone clients.  NCNS is the height of inconsideration.

So I followed up with a text and email today at 4pm to see if she wanted to offer an explanation or apology for standing me up last night.  I mentioned this discussion post and BINGO, instant email response!  

So she wrote back again saying that she has fired her assistant and that she is very professional and it won't ever happen again.  Then she threw a parting jibe saying that she did not offer to see me to make things right because I have been aggressive and she does not know me.

I prefer to deal directly with the lady when setting up time. It's more personal and takes one more link out of the communication chain that could get the appointment request derailed. That said I know some escorts are going to employ assistants.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks for anyone to get stood up. It happened to us recently with an experienced hobbiest. It doesn't matter what side of the relationship you are on, the lack of courtesy is disappointing. Don't lose heart. The vast majority of people out there are kind and respectful.

The provider has reached out once more and this time sincerely apologized.  She explained that the assistant, who apparently she is on the outs with, purposely screwed with her communications so she would lose clients.  The provider has since terminated the relationship.  She apologized for ruining my evening and accepted that it was not acceptable from her part.

I agree there is no reason for communication to stop and to leave you hanging. It takes just a moment to send a text. Hopefully you were able to find another provider while here in Vegas.  

I had a lady cancel on me day of a few months back, but not in Vegas. The dog ate the e-mails (like 10 of them) apparently. But she did answer my text promptly when I asked her WTF, was very apologetic, and did offer a make up session at a reduced rate. I couldn't take her up on it as I was traveling through her city and leaving the next day.
