At the risk of beating a dead horse, the subject of Herpes once again has arisen its ugly, blistered head.  The link below is to a discussion about a gent who thinks he contracted Herpes from a provider.  I'm not making judgement calls here.  The purpose of this post is only to ask that people seek ACCURATE, RELIABLE information.  Just because it's posted somewhere or in some article on the web doesn't make the information accurate.  Just because someone posts an answer to a request for information doesn't make that information accurate.  For accurate information about STD's and other infectious diseases, please visit the CDC's website.  It is the same information that is used by healthcare professionals to control and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.  The information there is written so that anyone can understand it and includes how the disease is transmitted, testing procedures, and treatments.  Please get accurate information, then weigh the risks, and take only the risks that are acceptable to you.
