Very nice thought, but what really pisses me off is the providers posted their thoughts and feelings and then linking there website to the post.  Very classless.

I had the pleasure of being with Alexis (cindy).  Long discussions of sports and her adventures in Las Veags over lunch and dinner, As I ponder this tragedy, I can't think of not one time that she didn't have a smile on her face, a sparkle in her eye, her laugh, her constant giggling, and although she stood a mere 5 ft. her thoughtfulness, caring for people she didn't even know, her love of life is immeasureable.  And as she looks down upon us now I can still see her smile.  You are truely missed Cindy ....may God help to heal those that you've left behind, for you are now safe in his hands .....paul

I don't know what her family's wishes are, but I was wondering if there will be a memorial service for Cindy? I'd like to send flowers, and/or attend if it happens at a time when I'm in town.

Peace,
Tanya

I'm not sure if there will be a memorial service. I have asked the Homicide Investigators to have the family contact me.
However, because of the Cindy's profession and that I am a reminder of that profession (kept secret from family and close friends), I doubt they want to talk to me. I don't know, it is just a instinct.

I am frustrated that I might not be able to gather with her other friends and family and pay my final respects. However, I have taken down her web site and started a simple memorial page with a guestbook. I also did it for those who want to express their thoughts but are unable to do it publicly.

The music I chose was one of my favorite instrumental soundtrack artist - James Horner. The song is titled "First Tears" from the movie "Cocoon". It's when Walter, the Alien Leader loses his friend of 10,000 years. It's exactly how I'm feeling right now.

The picture (I hope to get a slideshow up soon) was taken by my friend Ventana. It was shot in my living room (make shift studio) about 18 months ago. I was in the kitchen making faces at her and she turned around and smiled at me. It's one of my favorite pictures.

I found this on the Las Vegas Sun newspaper.

Cindy Marie Grappin

Cindy Marie Grappin, 36, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 22, 1967, in Michigan. A resident for eight years, she was a saleswoman in the entertainment field.

She is survived by her parents, Donald O. and Edwina P. Grappin of Linwood, Mich.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Out of respect to her family and out of respect to "Alexis", I hope the moderator has the class to remove the thoughtlessness in posting her real name on the message board.
