A lot of talk about provider rates in this forum lately.  Have done more research....checked reviews of providers who charge--in "my estimation"--extremely high rates......cross referenced them with the hobbyists who frequent them.  If the hobbyist's reviews are any indication of how often they visit a provider..........they do not frequent provider's on a regular or semi-regular basis.  Some of these reviewers post a review every few months..........or less often...........and usually are from out of town.  Easy to see how they could find it acceptable to pay so extremely well.....and how they impact the marketplace (supply/demand).

Now please do not take this the wrong way.......have all the respect in the world for providers.........they put themselves at risk and often need to have better people/customer service skills than they should........whatever they can get a hobbyist to pay........am all for it.

Having said that, some of us locals visit providers more frequently..........and..........if that were the case and a local paid a provider 500 a session, the reality is, he could be investing somewhere in the neighborhood of 50,000 a year on providers.

Please do not get me wrong (yes, I know I said this already).  Not judging, promise..........I believe in a free market economy and the market will determine what the going rate..........of anything should be.

But there ARE so many amazing ladies here in Las Vegas around the 200 range.........clearly more affordable for one who visits providers more frequently than our fellow hobbyists who may have a trust fund from Howard Hughes or may be from out of town.

Do you think we have two categories of providers here in Las Vegas; 1) one category that caters to visitors, and 2) one category that caters to locals?

As a local I have no intention of ever seeing any of the 700 or above girls. Many won't even see locals even if I did dip into the funds to see one and they sure don't travel to you as many of the local friendly providers will. So add a strip room if you want to see one.

Makes no sense to me to see a lady for one hour when I can see another local friendly lady for four, three or two times a month for the same amount.

The local ladies understand the local market and while still seeing visitors also they are cleaning up. A local is also usually a reliable steady source of income while visitors can be hit and miss. Nice to know you have some local guys in the schedule to make sure the bills get paid.

If there is a lady who see locals only I am not aware of her.

Hi there!  I can only speak for myself and how the clients I see review. I do have clients who have reviewed and are locals and repeat frequently but the reviews do not portray that as they haven't submitted multiple reviews and while they know they can they just opt not to for whatever their reasons.  I don't find it necessary and just worry about them being happy with my company.  

I visit some locals frequently as outcalls and others choose to come to me.  I also do the same with visitors and even have repeat visitors.  Everyone is different as far as what they view as "affordable."  I would say I actually see locals about 60-70% of the time.  Maybe it's just me but I tend to see or notice girls providing more outcall only services than anything which would lead me to believe more cater to visitors (I could be wrong).

I have a friend who is NY-based, mostly provides in NY, limited providing when traveling (she has civvie jobs and business and travels a lot).

She has toyed with the idea of providing in areas that don't command "NY rates"--but she's rejected it.  For one thing, she's always "fitting it in" around her civvie schedule, so she's not desperate for the $$.  Besides that, she thinks it's somehow unfair to her regular friends in NY if she "lowballs" herself when in another city/country.

I can't imagine a Vegas provider having two different rate structures for locals vs tourists.  Besides, that dividing line between the two is a little hazy.  I spend my time equally between Vegas and elsewhere--am I a local or a tourist?

TLDR; Yeah, we have two categories.  Are we supposed to do something about it?  Nah, I don't think so..

I do not see locals too often at all.
Perhaps maybe it is has to do with being an outcall only provider and not all local guys can host at their place.
Majority of my business is from travelers NOT locals.
I know some guys say there are some providers who do not see locals that is your choice.
But personally I would love to see some nice vegas local gents.

I don't think there are two categories of providers who cater to visitors only and another set who caters to locals.There is plenty of ladies who have all kinds of rates depending on what you can afford but I don't  know about many HIGHLY REVIEWED providers in las vegas with a 200/hr range.
There might be a few listed here.
If providers in that rate range work for you that is awesome every guy does what is best for him.
And every provider sets her rates as she sees fit.

Just asking a question.  Hopefully that was clear......no judgement intended.  Some locals frequent providers weekly or more and paying what visitors do would not be possible for some.

But YOU, Kat are amazing at any rate!

Vegas is the perfect place for ladies to charge more.    I think the whole marketing campaign around "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," really applies, it is the place where many from middle America can let their little inner demon out, so to speak.  I would think there are a lot of more casual hobbyists or curious hobbyists who go for it in Vegas simply because they are in Vegas.  

For example, there are lots of other convention cities, but I think your buttoned up professional is more likely to take the plunge in the whole Vegas environment.  Crap, all you have to do is walk through the casino at any of the hotels and you will see beautiful ladies in very revealing outfits and it just screams "come on boy, do something you would not do at home."    Then there is the fact that you have people who go to Vegas to gamble, see the shows, shop and they are already spending a ton of money, spending another $600 bucks per hour here or there is simply part of the whole package, no biggie.   It is not so much that they are Howard Hughes types, Vegas is simply a place where a person is more likely to indulge and give themselves a proverbial "treat" of one kind or another.   And of course, then add to that that many people who do frequent Vegas do have a ton of money and it really does make it the perfect environment for the prices to be higher than in other cities.

While it is very competitive, there are a lot of guys going through that city, if I were an attractive provider, I would probably be in Vegas, it is simply smart.   Of course, during the inevitable downturn, it is probably also a place where the ladies really hurt, precisely because it is competitive.   If you have found great ladies in the $200 range, it is probably a well kept secret, but there are many high quality ladies who charge more along the $300 to $450 per hour that the rest of us are used to paying in the rest of the U.S.

Very well put.  I live here and my hobbyist activities are not a "once in a while" thing.  And, living here, not being confined to a particular time frame (meeting, conference, vacation) provides more opportunity to "shop around."

Plus there are a myriad of other factors.  One is my age.  I prefer providers in their 40s-50s.  Most of you younger gentleman (and some in my age group) are most likely happy with providers in their 20s.

Even tho I offer incall I still don't get as many inquiries from locals.  (and never get requests for outcall from locals)
Im happy to offer good rates for regular locals too - but still there just arent so many.
Is it because we live in sin city that locals are just frequenting the plethora of nightclubs and getting jolies from girls there? I've no idea.
Vegas is the only place Ive ever lived and worked where visitors are my bread and butter.

Have visited your website.........you LOOK and sound AMAZING!  Maybe too many locals are calling you at the same time and getting a busy signal.

You are way too modest.  A lady of your quality is probably turning business away.

That works great for me. I can see the same men year after year when they come to Vegas. I also see many locals and if I see them frequently I see them at a little less than my Vegas 300/hr...

There are ladies in all price ranges. Sometimes guys just want a girl that's not in their range. We all get it. I would love a (speaking of) Range Rover, but that's just not in my budget.

...inquiries from local guys. The first few months that I was in Las Vegas it was 50/50. Then after a few reviews all that changed. Now I would say 98% of my appointments are with visitors. When I first started and was popular with locals, I used to offer an incall location, but I soon stopped. When I first started in Las Vegas, I also had a well known local guy tell me that I should not see another well known poster on TER. He said if I saw him that it would not be good for my local business. I almost saw it as a threat, so I saw him anyway. At first I thought that was the reason for my lack of local inquiries, but as time went on it never changed so I realized it probably had nothing to do with seeing that gentleman.  
Now if a local gentleman wants an incall I will work with him on the room and get the room for only that date.  
BTW, I feel my rates are fair for locals and visitors.

The ones I have gotten want incall. I do offer it but I don't have a regular place to host so maybe that is why I dont get many requests. I have had a few but once I mention filling out my contact form they just stop responding. I require verification from any potential client whether you are a local or visiting. So as of right now I have only seen visitors but am not opposed to seeing locals but it would be the same rate regardless.
