flash...eros announced today a move to begin weeding out the cash and dash fake ads that indidate the Eros LV site.  They have announced several different methods which they will use.  They will begin to charge a additional 10 per ad to those that are fake,  They will report any indication that the fake ads are fake.  They will cooperate completely with LE to help identify the fake ads.  

This will continue until the media begins their onslaught of public outcry at this awful practice of fake ads.  Then all local TV stations will begin their ambush interveiw techniques  with all lthe fake ad providers.

You actually think they are going to let that income go in this economy?  My Eros gal said yesterday they were way down as well so I think not. There used to be a ton VIP ads and today there are only 34.  I think that speaks volumes.

I received a call from Eros recently trying to offer me an advertising special. I told them I have never used Eros in the 4+ years I have been providing. They asked me why and I said "Because I have been warned by some of the good gents in this hobby to stay away from the site due to the high number of fake ads on there." And this call was like maybe a month ago. I did tell them I knew of some other providers who have made the same choice.

It's nice they are trying to follow in the CL footsteps and "clean up the place" but honestly is it going to change anything? CL doesn't even have an adult section anymore, what do you think is going to happen to Eros when LE gets through with them???

I am starting to think that the safest advertising a provider can do these days is on a more private level, such as monthly or weekly newsletters and mailings to our contact lists. I know some ladies don't keep track of who they communicate with, but it is a lot safer, and more discreet to gather your group of fans into your own little corner so they know where to find you. You might find that you don't have to advertise so openly as much as well. I just sent out my October Newsletter and my Quarterly Mini newsletter. I have 2 levels, the monthly goes out to those who have joined my mailing list by filling out the request form. The Mini goes to a larger list of gents, those whom I have been in contact with over the years. I still have many who haven't been added yet, but it takes time to go through and organize everything. I can say that even at this point, I feel my hobby biz is more organized and easier to manage and I don't have to come post on the boards just to reach my fan base.
