Would just like to add

that clean, trimmed fingernails are an absolute must. I look at things like that and if a gent has visible dirt under his nails or jagged edges, he ain't putting them on or in me :)

I enjoy receiving information from this Board and this was such a good post. I like pictures too. lol. But I'd like to add or put my 2 cents in. There was conversation about guys being rough with their fingers. I've been with a civilian and a provider, who decided to without warning ram their dry finger in my butt without lube or wetting. They also dug around up there claiming to locate my prostrate. I was sore all week. lol. Please at least lube or spit on it first. Good post Arden_Moon.

 Most women enjoy fingering. It's a YMMV situation with a few variables. The biggest one being when a man doesn't know how to do it properly. They don't have a vagina so how would they.  
   
 Fingering is to create a sensation the penis can't. Thrusting your fingers in and out of the vaginal canal like a penis is not enjoyable to many women. Greater success come from stimulating nerves endings just inside the vaginal opening, this is often referred to as the G-spot. Regardless of the target area, just a couple inches in and up is typically a winner.  
 A gentle stroking in the area with the tip of the finger. Your hand should not be thrusting in and out. (This is great in porn for a visual, but not in real life) If you master this position you can also try using the thumb to gently stimulate the clit. Done properly this may even cause a women to squirt or orgasm in a way she doesn't from intercourse.

 There are of course exceptions to ever rule. Everyone's taste are different. Some do enjoy multi fingers simulating the penis shaft or fisting. This is not fingering as it is broadly considered.

i wish I can say that the same didn't happen to me with a civi, but i stopped her before she got too far

but a provider should know better, guess she skipped that class in provider-school

It's really simple...

Check your ego at the door and just find out what your companion enjoys. Her first instincts may be to give you what you want...turn that around, find out what turns her on...don't be afraid to ask specifics like this...pay attention to both verbal and non-verbal responses...and you will make her very happy.
