This hotel is far from the strip caters more to locals but the oyster bar there has awesome food!
The oysters on a half shell, gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp etouffe, cioppino, and the linguine w/clams with the white sauce. Also the fish and chips baskets are great as well if you don't want something to heavy.

I have tried the Palace Station oyster bar I did not like it not enough areas to sit and always a line and the food was just ok.But,if you are visiting and are staying on the strip Palace Station oyster bar might be more convenient.
Enjoy!

My advice is to check out Yelp, Trip Advisors and any site reviewing oyster bars in Vegas. The one place you will find at or near the top of EVERY list in Vegas is the oyster bar at Palace Station. I was a little skeptical of all the outstanding reviews. Then I decided to go there during the AVN adult convention in Vegas last year. And let me tell you: THAT place definitely lived up to all they hype! Palace Station is not glamorous by any standard. And be warned there WILL be at least an hour to hour and a half wait to be seated at the bar along with another half hour to get your main course. Believe it or not it is MORE than worth it. The food is JUST that damn good. I've eaten at other oyster bars in town and this place just beats them all. My meal was even more enjoyable since I was sitting and conversing with an incredibly hot porn star who stated that she always comes there when in Vegas. Heading to Vegas later on this evening. Guess where i'll be eating? Seriously.

Good thing I'm there for 3 nights, I'll need all 3 to visit the various recommendations!
Cheers!

Been to Palace Station about 10 times and its real good.  Piece of advice, go during the week during off peak hours (late lunch, early dinner), otherwise you will wait 1-2 hours.  It's open 24 hours so you can even go after a long night in the clubs.
