On a serious note, I think Proposition 5 on smoking will have profound changes. I'm personally looking forward to it!

The core problem with elections is that the ignorant are not only allowed to vote, but encouraged to do so.  So much gets made of our ballot questions, which are typically worded with intent to deceive their true meaning.  That doesn't work if the people do proper research, but we've become a nation of commercial watchers.  So, this governors race was between an accused abuser of women and Ms Taxes.

Very well said, Acidom! I could not agree more!

I guess you are happy, though, that the next time we meet at the Palomino, I won't be able to blow smoke in your face, lol!

Only on special occasions, I think. Why? Don't I have good table manners? Lol!

Oh, maybe I don't understand the law that was passed there. Does it only apply to restaurants? Here in Arizona, it applies to bars, casinos, strip clubs, and everything!

It applies to bars that hold a food license (among other places).  Rumor is that PT's is considering no longer serving food at their locations.  If that's the case, I guess we can't repeat our lunch when you're in town.

"Scandal a week" Gibbons winning, or Jean Schmidt, who called John Murtha a coward, winning reelection in her suburban Cinci district.

Which kind of reminds me, Steve Wynn really does hire well.
