Heading to Vegas late June-early July, and found this Hoover Dam kayaking outfit that gets great reviews.  Has anyone ever done it?  If it's hot at ground level, will it be nice on the river?

I've kayaked from the base of Hoover Dam to Willow Beach.. It's a great trip with hot springs at the upper end and the potential to see desert big horn sheep the whole route. First couple of miles you're on the river and paddling downstream (distance depends on Mohave lake level), then it's all flatwater paddling.. scenery is fabulous...

It will be hot (100+ more than likely) but you are inches away from a refreshing dip in the water..

Listen to the guides, stay hydrated and enjoy... it's a great trip..

disclaimer: I did not go with this outfitter.
