I must say that I agree with the OP's content whole heartedly.
Here is too finally ending the constant wave of utter crud that finds its way to this PUBLIC FORUM much too often lately.
I vote that you douche bags who are retired or independently wealthy, business owners, off shift employees or otherwise are secure in their financial futures and are able to frequent this board more often than what is deemed necessary by the few who cannot or do not, should immediately find other means to amuse themselves.
I also believe that you bastards who are constantly complimenting those as you put it, money hungry women who are posting on this very public board in order to make a decent living, ought to be ashamed of themselves. What are you trying to do, get laid or something ???
I also find that you shills, whiteknights and manginas, you know who you are, not only bother me immensely but also those several other "paste eating nerds" who also hang out on this board, who would rather NOT befriend the likes of you or anyone else in this world for that matter.

Some peoples joy is mutually exclusive. Definition, I can’t have my joy unless you don’t get yours.
Another approach, you can have your joy and if it does not fit my definition then I ignore it.
Example: given the current season that is upon us, say I am a nonbeliever:
1) Because I an not Christian, nobody should be able to publicly celebrate a religious Christmas
2) Or I can just ignore the Christian remainders of the season and enjoy those elements that I chose
Now doesn't that sound easy to do....

Is he really looking for "profound insight" on a TER public forum? That could be the funniest thing I have read in a very long time.
Is he really offended by ladies advertising and being nice to clients? Seems like that is a pretty normal business practice for any product or service.
Personally, I enjoy some of the banter. But most importantly I respect the majority of the ladies who do this for a living. For the most part interesting and honest individuals who do an incredibly difficult job with class and flair. My hat is off to them.
Having recently retired and cashed in my eight-figure 401(k), I am contemplating a move to Vegas, in major part to partake of the local honeys. There sure do seem to be a lot of tasty wenches in Lost Wages, do you guys agree? I mean the cabooses, the legs, the nice boobies...I'll be like a pig in shyte. I'm also planning on maintaining or enhancing my wealth through a system I have devised for wagering on pro basketball, but that's another story for another day. I might also take up golf and poker, and the local real estate market seems ripe for the picking.
Here's my problem...a lot of the Vegas babes seem to charge a whole lot more than girls in other parts of the country, and I'm just wondering if you guys think they are worth it. Mmm, just going through the ads I see a few that I would like to have a special relationship with. I got bored with my wife a few years ago - she spent too much of my money, and I'm guessing there are a few sexy girls in Vegas, maybe even on this board, who I can live with or marry who will be happy just to live in a nice home and not need nearly as much cash as my beeotch ex. Do you guys have any tips for which girls I should approach, and how I can negotiate with them to get their lofty prices down? I mean, I know how to use the search tool, but there's no field for "happy just to be with a nice guy" or "can be talked down" or even "Five Hundred for an overnight". Plus, I'm quite a wordsmith and I would be happy to trade a good review for a substantial discount, knowwhutImeanVern? And ladies, I know you're reading this...I would be staunchly loyal to the right girl for the right price.

The usual "hey, which hotels have security, I want to avoid that" (with the explanation that aside from maybe Harrah's, hotel security is really a GOOD thing, since it helps keep nogoodniks out of the hotel).
And so on.
I'm at a loss as to explain how the Vegas board was some epitome of wonder and enlightenment Back In The Day (admittedly, I'm not a big fan of old-fogey, you rotten kids get off my goddamned lawn crankiness; things change, new replaces old). At least the dudes who are flirting with various ladies here (and apparently annoying some long-time posters) clearly aren't sockpuppets, and they do clearly spend cash to play here. I mean, really, isn't that the point of all this?
There are some problems with TER and the boards overall, but I think they stem from a number of issues that really don't have a damned thing to do with some mythical Golden Age of the Vegas Board, when everything posted from some group of Trusted Reviewers was a pearl of wisdom: Twitter/Facebook/social networking stuff is sort of overtaking BBS-style stuff (which the TER boards are an offshoot of), TER totally screwed the pooch on the TER 2.0 redesign when it came to the boards (and they have basically killed off chat, which is a shame because if they put effort into it, chat's the sort of thing that could make TER "sticky" for users), and while they fixed some of the problems, they drove members away, and finally, let's just say that the previous incarnation of Admin had his own problems, which we won't go into here, but which definitely make for hard feelings from some quarters.
Not that they feed you or that it is a paid position or anything but…

I will not argue your points here. Frankly, I do not blame all the ills of the new TER or have hard feelings about the changes that have come about either with reincarnations or otherwise. This board along with many others has suffered the same problems. A bunch of White Knight Mangina's kissing up to every single provider’s ad post that has a photo. Wonder what would happen if there were no photos with the ad? lmfao They'd have to get a jar of speedy jell and go into the closet for fun. Look, I am not the only one who feels this way. I might be the only one who is as vocal.
What strikes me here with your presentation of doom and gloom that is TER, is that you as a moderator have no statements of solutions to the above gloom. Perhaps it is time for Moderators who have their finger on the pulse of the boards make their complaints about TER to the admin straight up and not do it on the public forums. Just sayin.
Maybe it is just me, but I think if I were a moderator, I’d be a little more tight-lipped about all the problems TER has or creates and just go about my volunteer work.

I also don't see why I'm not allowed to be candid. Nothing I've said is much of a secret, is it? And there has been response to certain things... but some things you can't undo without a time machine.
As for saying "hey, the problem is these losers who need to STFU"... well, it's all a matter of perspective as to what you think is a good poster and what isn't. And chasing people away just turns the boards into barren wastelands. Maybe some of the lurkers supporting you could post on topics other than which poster's irritating them today.
And about your nostalgia over Staff... you do realize the personal cost to a lot of people involved in TER during that time, right? You've read the newspaper articles, scanned the court proceedings? I don't miss the dude at all, given all of that.
