I don't know, I thought P.F. made a good and valid point; that some providers will do whatever is necessary to maintain their professionalism, and keep their appointments, even under very difficult circumstances. The contrast he expressed is worthy of consideration, I think. I too have had some girls go through quite some difficulty to keep an appointment with me and I really appreciated it! Girls who provide what I consider a true GFE make me think that I am the only person who matters to them when we are together. That feeling is amplified when a girl seems to think I matter so much before we even meet! So when a girl has difficulty getting to me, but keeps me informed of her intention to keep our date, even though she might be late, it shows not only an admirable professionalism, but that she cares about her relationship with her clients. That would probably make our date that much better.
As for the original controversy involving Kiana Benz, I have stayed out of it until now, because I have never met Kiana either, or tried to, but I have followed the threads regarding her with great interest, and I have had a few thoughts, which I guess I will express now, albeit with hesitation and reservations.
I have read some of Kiana's reviews, and have seen her pictures, and she is obviously very beautiful and a fantastic provider when an appointment is actually kept. Even jbookwitness had nothing but good things to say about her in his review of her. If his review was not altered, as I understand it was NOT, I didn't see anything he said about her being too enthusiastic, or fake, and he certainly never called her a liar. I don't know where all that came from! He gave her an 8-8, which would not be that good if it were MY review, but is very good compared to his other reviews. (We all have our own grading system. Mine is more generous than his. That should be taken into consideration, when comparing the numbers.) He didn't say he wouldn't see her again either. In fact, he said he WOULD, but he might see some other girls before that. That seems pretty normal for us hobbyists. So I don't see what he said in his review that upset Kiana so much that she would refuse to see him again, much less deliver the tirade he related in his post, and which Kiana did not deny.
It seems to me that Kiana puts a lot of herself (maybe all of herself) into her appointments, which makes it wonderful to be with her, but she is very sensitive (maybe a little TOO sensitive) about the way she is perceived afterwards. I don't blame any provider for being sensitive to the reviews written about her. If she weren't, she would have to be other than human, I think. But the true professionals realize that the good of reviews outweighs the bad, and accept them as a necessary evil, and find a way to cope with the feelings they generate. I don't think that is easy at all! Somehow these girls have to develop a thick skin WITHOUT becoming jaded, which will become obvious, and make their appointments less than sensational. I think I have been very lucky, in that most of the girls I have seen have been able to do that. And my favorite girls (and I think you know who you are) are the ones who can do that the best! Obviously, this hobby (or business, depending on your perspective) is not for everyone. I hope that Kiana will find a way to be happy, whether she continues with this career or retires, as she has said she will.
Back to the original purpose of this post, regarding the contrast that PocketFisherman brought up, I consider a no-show, no-call to be very unprofessional, and shows little or no regard for us clients. Celeste is an example of the exact opposite; a very professional provider who cares! The only problem I have with your post, P.F., is where the heck is ICT?
