I was just mentioning it for the many guys who visit this board and ask about casino ladies.
I was playing my regular Video Poker. I had been there for over 1 hour, so I was well aware where all the buttons lived on the machine (hold, max bet etc).
Anyhow a male waitress asked me fro a drink (very cool they have guys doing drinks now)....anyhow he left.
Suddenly a lady came upto me...asking
"where's the charger for my phone, honey ?"
Ok....I am in vegas ALONE and after she asked the question I did have a few responses go through my mind (but I thought before I spoke, a good thing).
I said, " i do not know you"
she states
"I want my charger"......At The same time...suddenly i notice that the button for cash out had been pressed !!!!!!!
almost immediately the drink guy walks up and snatches the cash out ticket and gives it to me...saying
"Sir, this is yours"
The lady took off very quickly, but was caught by security,
I cashed out the ticket (was :83.00) and gave the drink guy $40.00. He later told me, alot of people are in this weekend trying to scam men and women, due to NASCAR adn 200,000 people in town.

I could see that scenario you described working with two casino women and one drunk guy.

This situation has nothing to do with the hobby or doing research.
This is a scam that could be run on anyone at any time - even us ladies potentially.
These scammers come to town when it's a major events like UFC and nascar.
They know it will be alot of guys here some drunk and not paying attention.
You must have not heard of the countless stories of guys being scammed and taken advantage of.
That's why I mentioned the hobby guys come on this board asking about casino ladies.
I would hate to hear someone was scammed.I have no clue what you're talking about some random woman.
This is my homebase I know about las vegas.
Edited to add scams out here could happen to women as well but they mainly target the guys.

Ya'll have been on this site too long. There is big real world out there where people behave in similar ways and say similar things but that does not mean they have any ties to this industry. That's quite the generalization.
I do not appreciate your judgement that I am "being naive" by suggesting this scammer may in fact not be an escort at all. Believe it or not many women find the thought of sex for money disgusting. Some people ARE just scammers and thieves.

I've heard that a few times. They'll say that their girlfriends are in the club and they can't can a hold of them and they need to go,blah,blah,blah. It's usually used as a ploy for you to get them to your room so they can recharge their phone. Then the talk of "Let have some fun while we're waiting" and prices come on to play...them CG's are tricky little things.
Some are very good at this approach and they'll have you actually believe that they're some damsel in distress.

This scam is usually played by two people. The mark is drunk and playing on a machine at the end of the row in a crowded casino with a lot of noise to drown the sound of the cash out . The player feels a tap on the shoulder . He turns his head around to find an attractive woman showing plenty of cleavage in a short skirt. She points to the ground right behind his shoulder and asks is that your money. Usually a 5 or 10 and will immediately bend down to pick it up,showing most of her goodies in the process. While this occurs her accomplise on the other side of you has hit the button and made off with your money.Somtimes it's a room key card or car keys but it's the girl who is the real distraction.
Before I begin my story, I want to thank you for sharing your incident.
I was sitting on the end bar stool playing video blackjack when a girl walks up close to me. Within a split second the bartender engages her. She asks, "Where can I get pizza". I'm at the Encore and thought it was strange to ask for pizza. Where the heck does one get a pizza? The bartender gave her directions out of the casino for pizza. I saw her 20 minutes later walking the casino. She was cute but very skinny wearing a red dress. Before she walked off she gave me a look and walked away and was with a heavy set girl. Then they split up. I figured she was a casino girl and the other girl was her pimp. I bet she was going to press my "cash out" button. I had no idea they did that. So thank you for sharing.
Pardon my ignorance on the cash out button issue..I dont understand how the girl was going to get the cash by pulling this trick. Would she grab the ticket and disappear to present it for payment later?
Sadly, simple but effective I suppose if the victim is distracted or drunk..Good for the waiter to catch on what was happening
the slots/poker machines making that loud retro coin dropping noise when you cash out the ticket. It helps make this distraction technique less effective, because you should be able to hear when the cash out button has been pressed (assuming you aren't totally drunk and incoherent).
Unfortunately the lady picked me.....I am getting older and the Testosterone is diminishing. When I am in Vegas I always come to TER for assistance finding a lady for companionship.
The scam would have worked with a guy who was younger and full of sexual desires AND a guy who does not know of TER. Ten years ago, I would have easily been the victim.

Also, props to the casino server who grabbed my ticket - he came out of nowhere (I mean he appeared out of nowhere, get your minds out of the gutter - I know what you all were thinking).
I forgot to mention, that when I gave him the $40.00 tip - he said that it was way too much !!!!! I told him "for saying that, you deserve the tip"
