an assistant. Replies from them are always crisp and uninviting to say the least. Like talking to a robot. Wonder how much business they lose because of it.

Most of the ladies I know who use a reputable assistant in the LV area do so because they receive many requests, including many time wasters which need to be weeded out...They also often have to balance work, school or family commitments.  An assistant organizes and weeds out problems and in LV there are tons with the tourist trade

Instead of considering it a negative, maybe think of an assistant as a girl's way of try to focus her attention on you when she sees you, rather than the daily trudge of guys who don't want to screen, who want to haggle, who give bogus references, or such.

If you knew how much time wasting goes one, you'd realize why the messages aren't personalized until after you see a girl...

Thank you so very much for your comment.  It is so true.  I do not have an assistant, and I sure could use one.  So yes, we never have a day off.  We also need to find time for sleep, and I do turn my phone off so I can get an uninterrupted night of sleep.  In Las Vegas our time spent outside of our home usually begins after 5 PM and we don't return home sometimes until after 2 or 3 AM.  We also have a few hours of computer communication needed daily.

Thank you for taking notice and appreciating what goes into doing our best at making people happy.

Expedited the screening process, which required a few back and forths, also got a blow by blow description of the arrival, she is now on route, she has enter the parking lot, oops wrong elevator, If they're busy what ever helps get them to my door works for me.

Not the message always, sometimes the messenger and some of those really need to work on customer service skills.

I don't have an assistant but have used help in the early days of my touring and it actually saved me a lot of business.  There is a problem that you can't do the "in room" part of the job AND answer the phone.  Many callers don't leave messages and dont' call back, for one.  Folks calling to cancel are far more likely to be replaced or rescheduled if someone is there to handle the phones and screening.  I can't screen and suck dick at the same time, frankly.

Finally, that robot, makes it much more easy for us emotionally.  It means not having to personally explain why you aren't being scheduled, not having to spend 15mins trying to get OFF the phone with someone who just wants to keep your attention and "get to know you" on the phone.  I hate LONG BS phone calls.  Talking on the phone is NOT my strong suit.  The only reason I don't have an assistant now is that I do have enough work and am happy at this level.  If I needed more business, I would hire someone to handle the phones at the very least.

I had this happen to me recently.  (Review pending.)  Phoned the advertised number, "Is this Y?"  Her answer was: "Yes it is," so an appointment was made.  The day of the appointment I get a call from the same girl: "I'm running a little late, but I'll still be there."

An hour after the scheduled appointment time I get another phone call:  "This is Y, I'm having trouble finding your address."  I reply: "Funny, you don't sound anything like the girl I've spoken to before."  Her reply: "Oh, that was my assistant."

Nothing wrong with using an assistant, but don't lie about who you are!

I just think they should be upfront about it. Some providers say "contact my assistant for screening and scheduling' or something like that. But some don't, and you don't know that you are dealing with an assistant. (see post below) At least if they are honest, and their ads and websites tell you you will be dealing with an assistant, you can decide if you want to deal with an assistant or move on to a provider who handles stuff herself.
