For the ladies and the gents... As I start my research for my next trip, I am finding some of the wonderous ladies that I find on TER a bit intimidating.  It is very weird for me since I do have some experience (all positive), but this time I find that I get this feeling....  So my questions are:  Am I alone in this?  Have the ladies heard of this?  What the hell is going on with me? (am i just getting old and the youth and beauty intimidates me?).  Hope this opens an interesting line of discussion.  Have fun and keep smiling!!

Research, research and a little luck.  I’d been looking for someone special that really understood and would truly indulge me in my fetish.  I don’t know if I can mention her name but she is well known on ter, voices great opinions and has blonde curly hair .  Anyway, after the first email I knew I had picked the girl for me and the more we emailed the more I was convinced. She REALLY went out of her way to make sure I will be getting the fantasy I wanted; sending pictures of clothing for me to choose from.

Most normal guys go through the intimidation factor, sometimes it's small sometimes it's large.  For me the first time contacting a Bianca Beauveau or Audrey Wynn when they are ranked at the top of the Vegas chart was intimidating.  But once you get to know them you realize they are amazing ladies that go out of their way to make every minute a great experience.  But once you've been stood up or had a less then fantastic experience with someone ranked in the top five you don't get intimidated anymore.  (definitely not the two mentioned above)

So I guess in my case i was more intimidated by price tag rather than looks.  Especially since there are ladies out there that are under priced and others over priced based on looks and performance.

It's been quite awhile since I felt a bit intimidated by a lady.  It was mainly because of her popularity and the fact that she was and still is hotter than hell (and yes, she's one of LV's finest!).  Although, that feeling disappeared as soon as I met her in person.

I agree with others that research will go a long way to reducing the jitters. Remember that it goes both ways in probably most situations. We research them, they research us.

I thiink the last time I was ever nervous at all was earlier this year. Since then, I almost always get the after email that she felt comfortable with me, most times, from the very start to the very end. If you get nervous, sometimes they sense it and get nervous also.

Even one highly regarded provider that I have seen a few times seemed pretty nervous with me the first two times I saw her. And I figured on our third date that it was that she was concerned about her safety and it was not because she lacks confidence. It can be a little unnerving for some ladies. Nerves feed off each other so it is probably better to just relax and have a drink or three (if you drink) and not worry about it. And always remember that there is a real good chance that your friend for the night will also have a great time!

I have only been to one, but the M&G's seem go a long way to breaking ice and putting both at ease. Visuals are better than pictures, and she gets the chance to look into your eyes.

Let me get this straight.  A number of hobbyists are intimidated by emailing providers - people whom you want to pay to spend time with, people who will see literally almost anybody (of any legal age, body type, physical capability, personality type, etc.) who can be screened and has a big enough wallet?!  Do you guys have any self-confidence in any endeavor?

I used to think that everyone grew up at some point.  Due to this thread, I stand corrected.  My god...

Either I did not communicate it properly, or you did not read it properly....  Contact, screening, setting up the appointment is not in any way a problem... that is a service, and to a degree, I agree with your (albeit somewhat crude) statement.  It is the actual time spent.  I do not, nor plan on, seeing ANY ladies for a one hour quickie... Not my style, not my likes, and not what I am looking for. (Maybe I have grown up past the I just need sex point).  Most of my dates are set up as 8-12 hour "experiences".

I am way more interested in the connection that is possible, and I am realistic enough to know that some "acting" is to be expected on a provider's part,  however, I  would like to make it easyon a companion to enjoy herself to (how immature right?).  It seems that you and I are looking for different types of encounters, and I will not judge either of them on your opinion of what is mature and what is not.  If this doesn't apply to you...I ask that you please  move on and save your (IMHO) condescending remarks for your peers.

Fair enough.   I am sure that your alias works wonders for you.   If you have all these overnight experiences I would love to read the reviews.  My question was legitimate, your answer condescending.  I question your credibility with an alias and/or not being a VIP member with whitelist and/or reviews.  

It's all good.  I'm sure I'll figure it out. Just trying to add some interest to the board.  I will refrain from creating further posts and just stick to my LEGITIMATE, honest reviews.  That said, let's not bore the boards with any more bickering.  Best wishes to you in your future hobbying!!

That's not a typo; it's a slip of the tongue. What it's trying to say, in an insensitive and callous manner, is that your search will be easier, and you will have more fun if you "toughen up" a little bit. If you get a "no" just move on to the next ad and don't worry about it. You are not asking them to go to the prom, you asking them to perform a service. Albeit one that can be very intimate and personal, but it has the potential "to get out of hand".  It needs to be done with sense of deliberate professionalism.  You are not looking for hooker, you're looking for courtesan.  And lucky for you there are several here for you to choose from.

The alias contention that as long as you pay them they will perform for anyone regardless of your race size or handicap is incorrect.  The girls you are looking for screen for “personality”. A few have told me so.  I've got screened for personality. It hurt, but the pain went away when the next girl said yes.  But I didn't just blow off the feeling, I learned from it, and as a result it has improved my hobby experience.

And NEVER, EVER, let an alias hit a nerve that causes you to stop posting.  You’re concerns are real, and there are several of us “sensitive types” that learn from the postings of others.  Because for every handle posting here, there are ten other people who just “lurk” and read, maybe because they don’t have the courage to post publicly personal feelings, opinions or concerns.  They learn from these discussions.

And remember, the alias is not a person, it is a “personality type” that by its very existence is proof that the owner is ashamed or afraid to admit it’s theirs.

But back to your original concern, or what I think is your concern, being intimidated by approaching a well reviewed courtesan for date. Maybe it’s a fear of rejection.  Yes, Hostess588 is talking about a provider that will screen to make sure you are not a time waster, LE, or abusive.  A courtesan will screen to make sure you can handle the intimate “temporary” relationship you are seeking.  She wants to make sure you will not “fall” and then turn into a stalker that tags every post, drools on every ad, and starts sending all kinds of weird emails throughout the year.  An occasional tag, drool and email is OK and welcomed, but there are countless stories out there of guys who couldn’t handle the kind of session you are seeking, and then had to be “dealt with”.  And let’s just say “been there, done that, it sucked”, and leave it at that.

Because the kind of provider Hostess588 is describing, you pay to entertain you for an hour or two.  After that your date might become “uncomfortable”.  The courtesan you pay to leave.  You, and her, just need to make sure that when she goes, you are just as happy with her walking away, as you were with her showing up.
