Leave a key in an envelope with some paper in it with your dates name on it at the bell desk. She can retrieve the key in the restroom, grab herself a drink and head on up without anyone noticing anything other than she is a guest of the hotel. I have done that many times and it works like a charm!

Yes they require a key... it looks like this
