I've done around 18 or 19 3somes in the last couple of years. I've always done them with at least one provider that I have seen before , by herself. So the ladies have advance knowledge of what I like in advance.  

The intensity can be amazing. I did a 4some in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago with LaRue and two other wonderful ladies. That was really cool. 3 ladies that enjoy each other's company.

So I am coming to Vegas next week and have been debating on trying something new - a doubles session.  

I am not the high volume kind of guy - only hobby a few times a year, and thought I should try something new and was always curious about trying a doubles session.  

Any advice from those who have done this before?  Had you seen one or both ladies beforehand?  Is this recommended?

In my experience I have always seen at least one of the ladies beforehand, but that isn't a necessity. A lot of the Vegas escorts advertise their doubles partners on their web sites or just ask them. Ideally both escorts are in to each other as much as they are you, depending on what you want out of the appointment of course.

Advice: eat your Wheaties.

Thanks.  I think this is sound advice.  Maybe I will try to see one of these lovely ladies alone first, and then see if I want to try a doubles with the same lady and one of her friends for a second meeting.
