On my last trip to Las Vegas a few months ago, I started noticing that there were some ladies hanging out at the hotel bars and by the  elevators.  A number of which came up and talked to me, but I was with some co-workers and I couldn’t get into discussing anything to get more details.  Most were very young and pretty.   I was hoping on some advice as to if I should go with the ladies that are at the hotels, etc over providers found on TER?  What are the pro's and con's?  One reason I ask is the last time I was in LV, I had set up dates with 5 different providers, but only 1 of the first 4 even showed up and the last one called to say running 45 min behind and had to have the date shorten, so I decided to cancel.  Wondering if the hotel lady's are a lot more dependable?

Any advice would be great since I am coming out again in April.

Do the research on TER and find an Indy.  Much mor ebang for the buck and you'll know what you're getting.  I've had success w/bar girls too, but I've got 50+ reviews so I consider myself pretty experienced.  Under no circumstances.....ever ever ever call a girl to your room from one of those flyers or magazine ads or from a cabdriver recomendation.  Use TER.  Pay for a membership if you have to and find a girl with at least 6 reviews from guys who have each posted multiple reviews.  Ignore all reviews from a poster who only has 1 single review.

MHO .. it's always best to stick with provider's that are reviewed here on TER ..not sure why you had such bad luck ... however, if your one that enjoys the hunt and possible arrest, upsale, and cash and dash then stick with the bar flies .... Bar flies can be a very interesting, entertaining, and a life time experience rolled into one .. even more so if you get the occasional LE .... happy hunting

Thanks Spinner!  If the women approach me by coming over and talking could they be LE?  Wouldnt that be entrapment since I wasnt actually doing any hunting and they initiated the conversation, etc.

From a timing standpoint, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush??" pun intended.

Seriously, A pick up a bar etc. may SEEM like a better thing, and it has a greater certainty at least regarding making the initial physical connection, (assuming of course that there is someone to choose from at the bar in the first place).

But that's where the certainty ends. A last minute pickup has absolutely no assurance about the quality of the eventual encounter. Whereas a well reviewed provider is going to give you nearly exactly what your expecting.

What your about to get from a last minute pickup is totally dependant upon your ability to read people. Although the bar pick up scene does provide a certain "aire" of excitement for some, and if you're patient might be slightly less expensive. If you grab for the first thing you see, chances are it will be more expensive.

Having said all that, it's my experience that going 1 for 5 was a fluke. I'd expect that the usual odds should have been closer to 4 for 5, maybe even 9 out of 10 should be successful.

What I do is try to get the pre-screening checks out of the way a few weeks ahead of time with a couple of extra providers. That way you're chances are much greater that a "last minute" backup plan will be successful.

I suggest the you try again down the reviewed independant route. Then if you are disappointed by one or two, you can always troll the bars later if required.

your better off sticking with porivders that are reviewd, bar girls are very hit and miss, also gotta be careful for other reasons as well. I was staying at the Luxor and some really cute girl were working the bar and casino, I was tempted, but no way, not gonna chance it.

aka casino girls.  Call them what you will.  I like to think of them as high class streetwalkers.

Good points:
Available at last minute.
Usually don't require verification/referrals.
What you see is what you get.

Bad points:
Usually more expensive than indies.
Usually single shot on goal.
Limited menu (BBBJ tends to be rare).
Ripoff element (cash and dash, assault, theft, etc) since they have no rep to protect.

Not sure what your expectation are but the lookers tend to be lazier.  Blowing $400+ on a wet noodle isn't a very good value.

This is something I have done before.  I am one who likes the "thrill of the chase" like most people here, but don't want all of the inherent risks that have been discussed.  You might like to go with a well reviewed "indie" who is into roleplay or even not, and ask her to allow you to "pick her up at the bar, or have her pick you up at the bar".  This is a simple roleplay which pretty much any "indie" would be happy to do.  It is non threatening, gives you the perceived "thrill of the chase", and you pretty much know what to expect.  Try it, I have on occasion, and it's pretty cool.

let me echo what everyone else is saying.. why take the risk...
there are so so many outstanding well reviewd ladies... go and enjoy the stroll at the different bars.. but finish up by meeting your pre-arranged  date , then you will enjoy the best of both !!!

Entrapment is just as fancy way of saying "wrong place at the wrong time"...don't count on that as being any type of usable legal defense...unless you have big money for attorneys whose advice will be, can you say "no contest!"

Thanks for all the advice.  I'm convinced.  I will caulk up the last visit to just bad luck and set up some dates in advance with established providers.   Doesn’t hurt to give it another try.

Metro Vice stings involving female decoys inside the hotel property are extremely rare. Moreover, their main focus in any sting operation on the resort property are the bar girls and pimps.

I have only seen one instance of LE (and it was hotel security at The Rio) approach and question a customer in the presence of a bar girl.

And in the case of female decoys, they hang out at the bars and let the guys approach them and not run around seeking them out.

To sum it up...

Unless you are a master at negotiating, near sober, and have LOTS and LOTS of discipline (not let the "little head" take over), I would just hang out at the bar, sit back, and watch the show.

On the other hand, stings involving LE taking a room in a well known casino hotel then making "appointments" with indies and arresting them when they show up happens on a regular basis.

You would be surprised how many outstanding well reviewed ladies I have run into working the bar scene.
