Hey there guys and gals. I will be staying in the Cosmo tmrw (20th) through Friday (22). I got a terrace suite and was wondering how the views were from the rooms and I've read about the earing bleeding noise level from the club there, Marquee I think, any truth to this or are the reviews just over-doing it? Any and all advice/tips would be appreciated. PM me if need be.

Thanks and happy hobbying

It took me 1.5 hours to get major issues like non working phones etc resolved upon check in.

Took another 3 days (!!!!!!!!!!!!) for patio to be cleaned up from garbage, cigarette butts and stuff too gross to mention.

And if you are trying to reach their "concierge" you better off walking downstairs or get comfy with interesting book.  They may answer after 2h on hold.

Not ever again!

Thank you for sharing your horrible experience. They will never have my business. You should write a review on Yelp.

I travel about 50% of the year, and between public travel, exclusive travel dates, and personal travel, I've experienced the full gamut all over. The Cosmpolitan was by far THE WORST stay I have ever experienced. From a room that was full of trash and a used washcloth upon my arrival, to  removal of items out of my room by the housekeeping staff, to freezing showers, to the sleepless nights due to the noise they pipe in from outside, to the food poisoning of a gentleman friend over breakfast after a lovely night and the refusal of the hotel to even acknowledge that it had occured (They said if I wanted to file a complaint,  I would have to file an official one in writing and they would have to escort the offending eggs out of my room with a security guard. I after the general assholery of the manager, I told him to go ahead and form the guard detail; unsurprisingly, the eggs were never picked up.) And finally the promise of a whole free night's stay on a future visit, confirmation of which never appeared in my box and the hotel has no knowledge of. I personally have no intention of staying there again, but the the sheer level of poor service even in the promise of restitution is just appaling.

My last trip included a stay at a lovely little property.  One morning at breakfast a fellow traveler complained to the staff about the crack pipe he found in his room.  Their lack of meaningful response told me that either it wasn't the first time it had happened, or that the maid now remembered where she had left it.  I'm supposed to be back in that city in a few weeks.  I think I should stay in a different place.

Don't worry about it. I been there a few times and never had a problem with the noise. The view from the rooms I was in was great.
Get your restaurant reservations in now. They' re all good and fill up fast. My fav is Comme Ca. If your from LA, your probably familiar with them, as they're extensions of LA places.

They do have wonderful views in their suites.Wow,never heard about the other things the other replies have stated but somehow I am not surprised!Great views but if you have to deal with poor customer service like that IMO the view is not worth it.

Stopped in last week with one of my ATF's for dinner. Found the noise level from the piped in music way too distracting. Its everywhere, restaurants, lounges, casino, etc.

Wow! Thanks for all the responses. I will be sure to request a room as high up as possible when I check-in. I've heard of the horrid service at this place. I will just have to roll with the punches during my stay. I will be sure to inform you all of my experiences while there, good... or bad...

Noise? Check, very loud at 40th something floor

Messy rooms? Check, found a vacuum cleaner in the middle of my living room when checking-in. And in three days the maid didn't care to collect an empty wine bottle on the desk (forgot it the first day, then became a challenge :)

Untrained staff? Check, a man entered my room without knocking. Luckily, it was not while I was there with the wonderful miss Samantha :D

But the room was really good, great views and from february when I've been there hopefully they've adjusted some kinks
