If the ladies in vegas were to get a gift card as a gift from a client after the appointment which stores would you like that gift card to be from?  I need some help on what stores are good and what you like.  And yes this is in addtion to a $$$ tip.  I know $$$ is best but this is something special.

Not sure by what you mean- “This is something special”.

Why is cash any less special then a gift card ?? other then a gift card limits how and where it can be used.

Now if you are giving her this gift because it is really that you want her to buy something to model for you (lingerie, clothes, shoes, other)
Then best to ask the lady where she shops for that stuff.

For example I love Victoria Secret, unfortunately they don’t make anything that would fit my bust line. Or anything that fits my bust and waist at the same time (The curse of having big boobs and small waist LOL LOL )
So for me a VS gift card can be a pain.

An Amazon gift card is great …………. Always things I need from Amazon ;-)

Some men tend to think a Neiman Marcus card is a great idea ………… and maybe it is if a lady likes to shop there.
Personally I think NM is an over priced store and you can get much more value shopping some place else.Brand names or Fancy names don’t impress me.
But that is me.

So my vote will still go to – best you ask the lady where she likes to shop, because each to his own.

Hope this helps,
Xoxo CindySpice

Well I'm not a provider. But when I used to see my favorite lady in vegas, who has retired :( I would get her a gift card for the Forum Shops.  She loved that place, well I'm sure she still does.  LOL

How do you suppose life would be with little boobs and a big waist?  Then you could do a little phil impression, lol.

Nothing I've seen there would be worthy of adorning your beautiful figure. If you could "squeeze" your lovely breasts into one of their pieces, you could only improve the looks of IT.

Even if it’s a gift card, your chances of pleasing them more than giving plain old Benjamins is low. I’d suggest something inexpensive but personal. Something that shows that you had to think about it awhile or had to go out of your way to obtain it, will mean far more to her than something expensive.

But then again Diamonds. . . . . . lots of Diamonds are always nice.

Sometimes guys just want to recognize how special a certain lady is to them, and cash is too impersonal.  For someone bottom line like you, yes, but I think that's the minority viewpoint. My personal ATF loves Costco, I mean, I call her Mrs. Kirkland. So guess what she gets from me? And happily ever after..;)I never thought something from Costco could be an aphrodiasiac, but it's not the first time I've been proven wrong.

The other thing is that a lot of guys aren't so adept at shopping for a wife or girlfriend. The rest of your advice works well here.

You’re proving my point exactly.
Giving a lady a gift card that she actually needs or uses where she shops ( in your ATF’s case it is Costco , my case Amazon)
Is a way better gift card ( and an aphrodisiac) then a gift card to a store that someone recommended because it sounds good or it sounds fancy (like Neiman Marcus or any other high end store)

Cash can be just as personal as a gift card. Like putting cash in a nice card. ;-) Gift card or cash it will be going to the same place. BTW some gift cards may expire …....... Cash never expires ;-)

It isn’t about me being bottom line.It is about being practical and realistic to everyday life.
I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Once I had a client who bought me as a gift a Versace top. I appreciate that he was trying to do something nice and thoughtful for me.
But he was clueless and the sales person totally scammed him by convincing him it is such a great buy because it is on sale so instead of $2000 it only cost $1000.( those sales people really piss me off!! )

The top was yellow(not even a color I can ever wear) and the style ……... ok I don’t know why anyone would even want to wear it, less alone pay $1000 for it. I can think of a million and one things to do with a $1000.

So am I supposed to be just polite and say – Wow this is great thank you so much. Lie and say I love it to make him feel good. But get pissed every time I see a useless top hanging in my closet. Also now since he thinks I actually like it, he may go buy me other stuff I don’t need/like.

Sorry I don’t like seeing money go to waste. When I give presents to friends if I am not sure it is really something they need, I do prefer to give them money.

Not because I am impersonal, because I rather they use the money for something they need, then have something collecting dust in the house because I thought it was what they needed.

Thoughtful for me is communicating with the other person and giving them something they like/need/use.

For me a box of chocolate covered cherries ( my favorite chocolate ) was a better/thoughtful gift then a $1000 Versace top I can never wear.

I would rather enjoy my favorite chocolates, then brag to people – Oh my client bought me a Versace top ………I also don’t have the need to impress anyone.

Nothing wrong with being practical and realistic about life. ;-)

LOL LOL you guys always make me laugh.

but for real last time I got measured at VS I was told - Sweetie you need to have your stuff special made at a special store.

Well that special store doesn't accept gift cards.

I know it sounds good to "squeeze" into a small top when you need it to be bigger ....... but in reality it doesn't feel good or even look right.
I'll have to show you next time in person *wink wink*

I actually understand where Cindy is coming from. I have had clients see my purses and assume I always want a designer purse and have had 2 in the past buy me ones I didn't like/couldn't use.
I didn't take them back nor did I sell them, would have felt too guilty.
As for Victoria's Secret, I don't know Cindy's cup size, but have worked for them and unfortunately, it's hard for alot of busty ladies to get bras. Why they are like that is beyond me, because alot of customers complain about that. It is also hard for ladies with big booties to find matching sets, the bottoms are usually too small or not cut right.
Recently, I've been just requesting American Express or Visa Gift cards when asked which one I would prefer. They're accepted at (most) places that accept those cards. That way, the lady can buy whatever she wants at almost any store.
