Any updates on what hotels have security at the elevators ?

I don't remember all them,but added the ones I remember to Kelly's list.

Cool, The hotel I'm booked at is on the no key list.    I do know that could change.

3 times and needed a key to get up the elevator every time.
Also Luxor has had security every time I have been there.  
Last weekend MGM was checking keys but it was the basketball tournament night so increased security

This is a subject that is always relevant and frequent updates are welcome.  Same goes for restaurant and strip club info.

stayed at Mandalay Bay last year and there was a jewelry or diamond convention going on so tighter security that week. But it was no big deal just flash your room key as you walk by.

the Rio does have security at the elevators!

I can only speak for Encore Tower Suites.
There has not been a need for card on my last visits in April and December of 2014 and 2015.  
A room was needed prior to then. We choose to visit LV during the slower times of year so that may have some bearing on it.
Meeting at the Bar or Casino floor is a huge part of the experience for me anyway.  
Love to watch her shove or wave your room card over the elevator and or room door
