I'm staying at a "high end" casino/hotel on the strip in a couple of weeks . I think the minimums at the tables area at least 10 dollars. Just wondering where I might could go where there are smaller minimum bets and maybe make my money last a little longer

Maybe you like super high class places?  If you can handle a hard gambling and heavy drinking and smoking atmosphere, and you do not mind going off the Strip a bit then try The Orleans.  that gambling floor is super busy on the weekends, but it is not a high end atmosphere.  The Red Rock is fun too, and I am sure they have some tables with decent minimum bets.  The Red Rock is a high end locals place.

Maybe the old Sahara casino has some low wager tables, and I bet the Palms has a few.  The Palms is kind of funny it has a high end image, but a lot of the neighborhood locals go there. Not  much of a table player, but a lot of locals go there and the neighborhood around there is very working class.

Try the Flamingo, Ballys, or that little casino right across the street from Ballys.  I do not know its name, but it was taken over by Ceasars.  Just off the Strip right up the street is Ellis Island and the old Terribles Casino too.  You are here to win money, and that is all that matters.

Thanks. Also, I think I read something recently about a place called "Ellis Island" maybe that sounded like fun.

When you play is also important.  If the casinos are busy they will tend to raise minimums.  Your chances of lower minimums are during the day.  Avoid playing weekends, Holidays or when big events are in town.
