I made a special trip to Las Vegas to see a certain provider. I talked to her before I got the plane tickets and motel booked. Everything was set up. I talked to her a couple times inbetween that first time and the trip and things were good to go. I get to Vegas and shes going to be alittle late, ok no problem. Then she cant come until real late or the next day. I tell her the next day is fine. She never called, answered my calls or texts. WFT is up with that?
I spent alot of tiem and money for nothing.

I wish TER had a separate entry for "she flaked and did not show up" under looks or performance.

Until they do, I don't think there is any way for you to post a review (for example, how can you judge her appearance when she didn't show up?)

Others have suggested posting on a discussion board, but, when it's happened to me, I just licked my wounds (instead of HER licking other things!) and moved on.

Take a step back, try to contact her, and rethink all of what happened.  Let a few days pass to be sure that you've got a level head about it.

If after all that you still are upset, name her here.  We'll listen, and depending on the circumstances, we'll either give you pity, or tell you that you should've known better.

Well, I am sincerely sorry that happened to you.  I am sure it was very disappointing.  

I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but I can say we have similar situations too.  For instance sometimes we see a guy who seems like a great guy, really nice, sweet, etc.  He writes a great review, we give him glowing references, whitelist him, all seems good.  Then he books another appointment and we reserve the time, turn down other requests for that time slot, even work with him on same day time changes and he cancels last minute.  No real explanation, just cancels.  Then we end up having spent time for nothing and lost money on the other clients we turned down for that time slot.  

So it may be little consolation at the moment, but it does go both ways.  It happens to us too.  Sometimes there is a real, legitimate reason and sometimes people just flake.  It sucks either way.  Hang in there!

Thats too bad that happened to you love.  Hopefully she has a really legit reason for it, and like someone else said, just give it a day or two to see if she give you a good enough reason.

What happened to this guy stinks for sure,  But for the most part whether or not it's an actual no-show is not even provable.  A lack of communication, a miscommunication...  I've had guys think we had an appointment because THEY wanted it at a certain time on a certain day and sent an e-mail but WE did not schedule.  It would be a nightmare to try to include no shows on reviews.  I saw one that snuck by staff recently and was shaking my head how she got a 2 when there was NO appointment.  No system is perfect but a review is what happened in-session and should remain exactly that.

There are other boards of this type that will allow you to post NCNS reviews.  They do not provide a total honest, level playing field when it comes to reviews.

here on the discussion boards.  The review database is for reviews that actually took place.  How can you "review" something that never happened?  simple answer - you can't.

So, what should happen is that the hobbiest should post here what happened.  then all can see that the provider did this.  It also give her a chance to respond - in many cases there are two sides to the issue.

There are three types of hobbyist that get caught up in these no show/no call deals.

1). Just takes his lumps and goes away frustrated, never to mention it again.

2). The dude who comes on the board crying about his terrible experience to vent, never giving up the gals name in the interest of being a "Gentleman". (no help to fellow hobbyist obviously)

3). The dude that get no showed/no called, makes other efforts to check her welfare and determine what happen, then after three days blasts her ass on the boards. (I am #3 and there should be many, many more #3's and a lot less "Gentleman")

PS: RE: #2, this will never work, but just my opinion, if you are #2 above please stay off the board with your sob story, or call her out, period. You get nothing be 'awe shucks' responses and 'so sorry, you should have called me' and a mini-train wreck with nothing gained.

i feel that we just were thrown under the bus just by the"L" insinuation
