Let's not be so sensitive. I didn't even think of applying for the gig, and I've run three boards in the past. Besides, I hold MY staff meetings at Drai's around 5am. I don't think that would go over to well with the brass here.  I just want to enjoy life. It's not like you can put this on your CV, y'know?

This was more of a personal note to the staff.  It's not the fact that I didn't end up as moderator, I was only thinking about it.  What upset me was a total lack of response to any queries.  I guess it was the proverbial straw, I had been getting tired of people either misinterpretting my posts or sending me emails that were rude and misinformed.

For the board, the staff made the right decision.  I wouldn't have spent as much time as others.  I do, however, expect responses to the type of queries I sent.  My only response to that silence is a lack of response on my end when they ask for more money.

For me, I'm tired of offering opions, that have actual information backing them, being attacked.  I'll probably post once in a while but not nearly as much as I had been and in much more limited instances.

I do hope you reconsider about scaling back you input. You have made some good contributions to TER and a successful boards needs the input from everyone - not just a certain few...
