Discussion board vs. personal ads

It seems to me that in the last few years, the discussion board has changed from discussions to personal ads. I wonder if there could be 2 sections, one dealing with discussilons of various topics of wit and wisdom.  And another section for our beautiful providers.  Today I counted 23 provider ads on the page, and 3 discussion topics.  Maybe Im just being the Devil's Advocate.  Thanks

Not only do I agree with the initial post but may add an area of discussion for No- show incidents.

If is wasnt for the ads, there would be nothing posted anymore. Someone posts asking for someones opinion on a provider, place or something else. Someone, (usually that same fun killers) chime in and beat them down for posting. I think your idea about having topics to BS about would be great. The question is, who would choose and post the topics?

do you still want a no-show area if even the hobbysts are placed on it? I am not sure I want that..s@@t happens on both sides of the game..

Personally.... I love most of the ads. What I don't like... as mentioned by the Dive Captain are when you ask simple questions for discussion and somebody hiding behind an alias slams the post with derogatory comments. No need for that In my opinion... and I think that's one of the reasons you see more ads then discussion on the regional boards.

For me... ladies that contribute in positive ways end up on my list to see. It tells me a lot about them in the first place. I laughed my ass off when I saw somebody post an ad stating not to reply to the post... Treating TER like it's BP or CL... WTF?? TER was set up so guys don't get ripped off in the first place which is really important in LV since there are so many scammers out there.

Regardless... just saw somebody who took the time to reply to one of my postings in a positive way some time back. What a complete Joy meeting her was... Absolutely Fabulous.

All because she took the time to send a simple (and good) reply to a question I had and I put her at the top of my list.

Business is all about relationships... I think if more ladies did not use TER solely as an advertising venue and participated more in the discussion side of the regional boards, they would see their business go up.

Maybe it's just me... but before I schedule something up with a provider I pull the search and see what they are posting. Good, positive posts score big time with me and my recent experiences since going this route have been EXCELLENT.

Unfortunately... I'm posting this with my alias because there is somebody out there hiding behind an alias trolling TER that for whatever reason likes to slam me and other posters which does no good for TER.

I've been on this board for years... I can't quite remember but the whole "Alias" thing was set up for sensitive issues... not to hide behind to slam posters who have a question.

Whatever... it is what it is and I'm the one with the cash. If I'm running things.... I would post the ads and Answer questions in a positive way. Some providers get it and are doing very well... others.... well.... they need help. Fuck.... it's not that hard... I can't tell you how many guys I meet that just don't want to get ripped off.

Golly, I said nothing about doing away with ads, or doing away with discussion. Merely making separate areas for each one.  I was only suggesting ads and discussion to be separated, and did not mention or consider "no-shows",  thats a horse of a different color.

Well here's that "somebody out there hiding behind an alias"  because you obviously say one thing but do another. Have you forgotten?

You need to look back at a few of your own posts under this very alias where you make plenty of derogatory contents about other posters.   The moderator even pointed this out because you apparently couldn't figure it out

" . . . somebody hiding behind an alias slams the post with derogatory comments. . ."

Don't post this crap unless you mean it or does it only apply to others?
