If I had to decide between the two..

I would definitely pick the Planet Hollywood over the Flamingo.
The quality of the rooms are better at Planet Hollywood.
The flamingo most of the rooms were renovated but it is a pink and white color theme and I find the hot water to be nonexistent every time I visit that hotel.
Also better dining options at the Planet Hollywood in my opinion.

the Aladdin, which was built much later than the Flamingo on the site of the original Aladdin from the 1950's.  The PH makeover several years ago made it even newer and more modern, and it attracts a younger and more hip crowd than the Flamingo.  However, the Flamingo has the cache of being mobster Bugsy Siegel's hotel.

i HATE the beds at ph. they are like marshmallows.. i dont like sleeping on them or..... well, you know!

planet was intended to be the fun, hip, new money place to stay.. and while the casino floor proves that and there is a mall thats attached.. i think the flamingo now has an edge just because of the linq next door.  

they both are fine places to stay. i just cannot stand the beds at planet hollywood.

The only issue I have with PH is self parking. The last time I stayed there valet was full. I just parked over at cosmo and walked over.
