I have a diner date wiuth my ATF in October would like to take her to a reaally nice place.  Any opinions?

if you like steak the one at golden nugget is very good .... the new steak house with the exmayor might be good

It is in the Golden Nugget and is my favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas.  They also have a Charthouse which is a very good seafood chain.

But there is a Italian place in the nugget, right by the pool... Place has great food... I forget the name...

Good seafood and primerib.I like the aquariums where you can see the different fish.

Hugo's Cellar in the 4 Queens used to be very nice and romantic. I have not been there for years but maybe someone else could chime in.  Very old Vegas feel and service used to be fabulous.

It has very good recent reviews on Yelp.

I have heard that Oscar's (the ex Mayor's place) is really good. I haven't eaten there, so don't know. Anyone wanna take me, we can scout it out. Ha ha

Love the food and environment.  Yes I am a seafood lover and ironically love to sit around the aquariums as well. But if you are staying at Golden Nugget it is very conveniently located at the Rush Tower.

After 25 years of trade show trips to Vegas, my favorite place for dinner is walking distance from the Nugget.  The "Triple George" steak house.  Classic place. Great food.  Fair prices.

Hugo's cellar is a really highly rated Italian restaurant in the basement at the Four Queen.  Top of Binions steakhouse is a great view of the strip and Vegas . Both are right across from the Golden Nugget. Be sure to check out Fremont street on Friday night. Multiple bands and stages. Lotta fun.  And the bar in the hotel at the north end has a miniature golf course. Cool because it's an older bar.
